Why do blacks like ethiopians/eritrean better?

Why do African americans, west afrricans & Caribbeans adore Ethiopians so much? Pound for pound, Ethiopia/eritrea probably had as brutal approach to Blacks and slavery as the nearby Arabs and still to this day Ethiopians probably have one of the highest numbers of derogatory words for Blacks. I have to know why they like Ethios/eri so much, especially over us.:?--- and how come us somalis are more closer to arabs then our black brothers and sisters and most somalis not calling themselves black well the ones i came across its ridicoulous no wonder most real blacks thinks of us somalis non black and the most uncoolest country that worships arabs

What have we done to ruin our image and how can we become worshiped by African Americans the way Ethios/eri are?

Its cause we have a diffrent culture then they are used to.And also we look very diffrently you can call it either racism or jelousy? But either way we should not change our culture only to fit in.However we could loose terms such as "adoon" and "jareer".

No i defo dont want to change our culture since it is african heritage but i just want most somalis to drop the "adoon" "jareer" insult its really pathetic and basically insulting urself since somalis are black i just wish somalis to be more closer to their black brothers and sisters and have good friendship ties with their follow african countries rather then joining the arab league and having more ties with them, i have nothing against arabs but i just dont want somalis to claim they have arab in them and theyre not black lol

I think it is because Somalis are not friendly like Ethiopians. Everybody has derogatory words for others and everyone is brutal to foreigners in their country when they are in the majority but, not everyone is unfriendly. People generally like friendly people and hate those with fake arrogance especially arrogance which is unearned.

What I said is true If an Ethopian will insult another country they will not do it in the open just like when others insult Ethiopians it is not in the open but, on every Somali forum there is open insults of other Africans which is usually unheard of in common friendliness and the normal fake facade people put on in public places!!

Somalis just talk louder and it might be viewed as arrogance and it can be intimidating. Although of course there is a very troubling religion/qabil arrogance based enmity among us that I pick up only because I move among them and understand Somali. Eritirians I've met- rarely seen any Ethiopians- are generally quite and well mannered, don't know if they are nicer and friendlier in reality, but I've had many good friends before among them.
