He used to talk about never selling out, but money is difficult to resist I guess. I was shocked when I saw the Bang Bang video. I couldn't watch it more than a few seconds. It was so disgusting with naked women and looked very perverted. He has children, he comes from Muslims, that makes it even harder to believe. Even many non Muslim artists would not have such type of videos. He has lost most of his fans, he lost his selling point. He was known as a serious artist with relevant songs, now with that video most people will no longer take him seriously.

man i didn't fuss today but shut the f up, nagging like little girl always seeing something to complain 'bout, putting everything under magnifying glass. he always represented, waved the flag of looked down somalia high and proudly:O) learn to take the sweet with the sour. if you can't deal with reality look away stop crying:O)

I was rooting for him, I really wanted a Somali artist becoming famous and talking about real issues, the type of issues our people are going through. If he continued that way, he would have become the next Bob Marley. But instead he did such a drastic change for the worst. The music industry is filled with such acts and he is now on of them, he is no longer unique nor original.

I guess you are desensitized to nakedness, if nipples and genitals are all you think is nakedness. I can tell you for sure Bob Marley who was not a Muslim would have never done a video like that. I hate mainstream music and I don't watch music videos because they are getting worst as time goes by.

it's only 1 song, bang bang that could be counted as commercial. does having one song for the masses qualify him as sold out? i think is a wise step to appeal the masses and reach everybody instead of one specific group becoz nowdays music is business.

if i'm selling tomato's in a market, i want to sell as much as possible, it is the same he just want to sell enough products and generate money. i dont see anything wrong with that.

akon went the house route, no comparison in my eyes.

What we are talking about here is decency, that most people can understand whatever their religious beliefs. I can tell you that Hindus, Buddhist, Christians, Muslims and people from all kind of religions would find such videos morally degenerate. I know many people from those religions and we are all in agreement. The ones who find it okay are the ones who have more influence from Atheist loose morals. The music industry is controlled by atheists as everyone knows.

i'm not writing this for the sake of disagreeing with you but you sure know bob marley was decades ago, and time went by.

and to be real k'naan is not bob marley, and it's too early to compare him to bob marley, to me knaan is still in his infancy musically to bob marley.

the arab artists are the same using the same girls
