Barawa people settled in Brava while Bantu people were living in the region and there were no Somalis, with whom we lived peacefully for long time, long before before the Somalis in there colonial expansion toward the fertile south, evicted this peaceful agricultural people, violently during the last 200 years.
We Brava people have lost our independence with the European rule and now have lost our Soul in 51 years of Somali rule. The reason that the Somali people are not able to make peace between them is due to the curse the have got from God Almighty by mistreating the peaceful minorities (Bravans, Rer Hamar, Bajunis, Arabs, Bantus etc.) who were almost 40% of the people living in the Somali Republic. The Somali don't have the equivalent of the Bravan quote "Wazaleno hawa lani hadha hadha ma jirani" which means when the brothers quarrels (Daroods, Hawiya, Ishaq etc who Somali brothers), respect the neighbours.

I know a few Barwani people and i must say they have the most peculiar smell ever. They are not accepted as Somalis because they have foreign blood in them. God know where they come from and they donít speak Somali either so to call them Somalis is crazy.

The roots of barawi people go back to the dawn of Islam in the first century of Hijra during the Ridda wars in Arabia with people migrating from Arabia and Iran to East Africa long long time before the Cushitic Somali came to the Horn of Africa from Nubia. There is a 16th Century map of East Africa at the University of Bonn where is located the Republic of Brava. Barawa, Bajuni, Gosha etc. people are not ethnic Somali, but are victim of the Somali like the Palestinian are the victims of the Israelis, but with the help of God Almighty Somali people will continue to suffer without peace for all the evil they did to there peaceful neighbours.

YOU want a justice heh?, Now, how you are gonna get your rights if Somali is not stable and stays in this circumstances? wouldn't it be better to pray for somali so you can bring this matter on the table of discussion? wouldn't it be better to make people recognize the pain you were enduring? or you werent thinking that way. be foresighted.

The problem is that somali people have is that don't now the difference between ethnic somali who live also in ogaden province of ethiopia, north eastern province of kenya and in jibuti who are citizens of those countries, and being citizen of the now defunct somali republic; so if being somali you mean to be an ethnic somali we are not somali but if you mean citizen of the former somali republic we were supposed to be, as is the way in civil nations (for example in france people from corsica and basque region are not french ethnic, in italy people from alto adige region are german ethnic etc.) but they have full right of citizenship, and the central government give them subsidy to preserve there language and culture, while in somalia ethnic cleansing and discrimination against our language and culture has been always the rule.

barawa are mainly the offsprings of potugal and the bantu or sabsomalis like the tuni, baajimaal, bagadi, galdi infact barawa was under control of saltanatu tuni or galadi both speak cushitic dialects and before them the ajuuraans was ruling and are classified as hawiye or related to hawiye as samaale clans like the bandhaboow/fiqishini as xamare samaale or the shiikhaals and that why in the arabic map of the 12 century marka and shabeele was hawiya country that was written by 2 arab historians
The bantu in somalia speak somali dialects or mushunguli mosampiqui language and you are the portugal bantu army from mumbasa in 18 century like the bajuni at the somali and kenya borders you speak a sawahili language

lies and lies what did you said cushites arrived after you???
What about the tuni cushites and the gala wardaay cushites the original people of the barawe that what all the historians agree lee cassaneli, I m lewis, shariif caydaruus and the italian historian who wrote about the banaadiri towns mr gerullo
Even the name Bravanese is the kushic king brawt of the gallantly wardaay and the tuni, baajimaal, bagadi, galdi and the gallantly wardaay lived together in barawe, qaroow jamboo, ganaane river wich is knon now as juba rever all the tuni subclades of goygaal, daafaraad, wanle, hajuwa were between caragaduud and Deeho the red sand and the white sand with their permission aw cali resided in Deeho/the white sand and the majority of tuni was in goobwayn and barawa some historians beleave awdal calif himself was tuni however the arabs of yemen moved to him like the biida and haatimi under the tuni jurisdiction and later the many sawahili speakers come as aggressors with portugal and worked for them communicating with sawahili dialect wich took over th tuni dialect so if you denying your sab tuni origin then go back to the aggressors land
I will post the link tomorrow

What you are talking about is classified by International law as ethnic cleansing as happened in Bosnia, Palestine etc and you as a typical Somali are proud of it, and I presume you should be proud also of the killings, rape and robberies by your people including those who to steal a watch in a mosque, put the holy Qoran one on the other to stand on it and reach the watch. Those same bandits have now converted to radical Islam and continue killing and robbing under there new ideology, but we now that God Almighty never forget the evil done to innocent people, and will punish in this world and in yom al Qiyama.
Long time ago when our women use to dress the abaya the somali used to call them maqabiya, and now this same people pretend to teach us that Mawlid is Haram, Ziyara is Haram and so on, oh what kind of hypocrisy is this.
