Hi all, from Rome, Italy.
I am a mathematician working in Rome as IT consultant with a great wish to drastically change my life.

I would like to contact italian people living in Seychelles, probably there could be someone who can help me to get information on how to move to Seychelles, how to find a job, an apartment...

I know, not an easy question to answer, actually... mumble... anyway, I must keep on hoping ...

Un abbraccio ...

My dear man, if I were you I wouldn't bother. Obviously you are rather poorly informed. Apart from that I wonder why you would want to contact Italian people in the Seychelles. There are a few but unfortunately with mafia connections. Think again before it is too late.

dear vito
Travolta is right. If you wish to loose all your money go to seychelles. The country is run by a bunch of crooks arms dealers drug dealers and east european mafia. Once upon a time the LP2 were in power there. Moreover nothing to eat in the shops country bankcrupt. mayby if there is a change of government this year things will change.

Dear Vito and others how are thinking to live on Seychelles,
Even with family living on Seychelles, I gave up trying to find a job there after two jears, before I will be bankcrupt. Go to Thailand, a countriy with a lot of posibilities. Within five weeks I found work here, a good job and a nice house to live in. The Thai people have culture, they are integre and not lazy, the opposite you will find on Sey. And then their regulations(?!?!)they don't know themself and everything is going so slow or not at all : fatige, fatige (tired) they tell you all the time. And don't think you are God and can change them!!! In your one interest. Try Mauritius or La Renion, what is french and belongs to Europ.

Dear Vito,
Never, ever go to the Monkey Rock they call Seychelles! Not even for a holliday! With the best intentions I have spent a good one and a half yesr there trying to settle down, find a job etc. without result. Yes, it is a beautiful island but the totally corrupt government is succesfully ruining everything except their own bank accounts.
Go somewhere else!

Dear Maria , John travolta ;Dr fripper and Sanouk mai
Please please tell your story in details whats make all of you to hate so much from the piece of paradise what was the reason you went to Sesel ?Ý think Vito also has a same idea like me please help me and to him in every respect abt moving to Sesel .
What was the reason to move Sesel ? did you expect the life more or less same as you spent in europa or thai ? did you expect more income what the seseloises are earning ? did you expext to live in the villas which we see the photos in the real estate seychelles web site ?....if not please tell us what was the
wrong abt people there discrimination? discrimanition to tourist?which is one of the main source of the economy ... i dont think and Ý think that Sesel is a country that can have a reality regarding how do you see it ... and i am wondering more than 3000 foreigners who are settled there why they are living in Sesel why they dont abck to their country? I belive good intention always brings good results in long term and most important part is we are looking to Sesel with a foreigners eyes ..must listen Seselois voices too and it makes sense to make up . I am a good Japanese speaker which i learnt in my child time and incl reading and writing ..hawaii is a best place to use it but i never go there never the reason is compare with Sesel hawaii is so poor in my opinion with its corrupt with is ethic situation and being belt of the natural disaster (remember hurricane iniki)
Today internet is connects all the people on the world and news are reaching anypart of the world with a light speed .. if so i want to askk all of you whay still so many tourist go to Sesel instead of the open their eyes and change their destination to mauritus or whereever ..i can be totally wrong but writing my pure idea and want to live there the rest of my life and want to help to rise up the name of Sesel .Because if i can succeed if Sesel will help to me its a natural way to to give my thanks to sesel.

Dear mr.Mariner,

You are probably a Seychelois and possible a true member of the SPPF.
The reason to go to Sesel was to live a simple and basic life and not to make lots of money since that brings no happiness. After having travelled around he world Sesel looked very attractive; healthy food, friendly people and beautiful nature and wildlife. Indeed, the normal and usually poor people are very friendly, not always educated but that is the fault of the government providing very poor education in Kreool. The careless handling of the beautiful nature turn out to be disastrous; building of poor quality housing, hotels (North East Point: Russian Hotel, after 6 years it still looks like a bunker with no sigh of any progress just the destruction of a beautiful beach, who gave permission to do this?)

Luxury or a villa was, as I said earlier, not a motive to live on Sesel; I leave that to the rich SPPF Seychellois who can afford that and at the same time can go to Docklands, something normal people can never do: they have to live with poor quality rice, kindly brought in for them by the SMB, no oil or butter for months and the lack of building material? What is the reason for all this?

Did the Sesel government provide any news on the Chikungunya epedimy? This is just another symptom of the way they act.

Did you mention something about cleaning the beaches?

Very necessary if you see what a beach looks like after the Seychellois celebrated their free Sunday on the beach; a very careless approach of their precious Island, plastic bags, empty bottles etc.

I will not go into detail about my personal encounter with immigration, the SIB and various Ministries but I will tell you once more; the regulations are sometimes made up by whoever is in charge and many times based on personal sympathies.

The other possibility is of course (if you are not already there):

GO AND FIND OUT YOURSELF.

Don’t come back to me later and say I didn’t warn you.

Kind regards,

Dr. Fripper

Part 1
Dear Dr.Fripper
Thank you very much for your kind reply.you can be sure that you made me so very happy when i see your first word '' You are probably a Seychelois '' I would love to carry this pride to be a Seychellois but unfortunately still not . I never been in there but my intent is going there to live and share the countrys problems together with a Nation .
Deat Doctor I understand you and thankfull to you.But there is a difference between you and me that how we are looking to the Seychelles.I believe i can be happy in there if i can help to that people in any form.Let say after 1 month i moved there and looking furniture for my new home ..need a tv ? and i have a enough money to buy big screen plasma tv .. doctor i will buy a small one and with a rest of money i want a buy a computer and present it to the primary school for childrens who are learning there and it will make me more happy than watching plasma tv in my house. this is a my point of view. i mean i am not looking to the Seychelles with a personal looking glasses. If i can go there if i can make something for the people if somebody greets me in the Victoria market with sincer feelings its a huge biggest happines for me which can not supply by watching a plasma tv.
being positive is always brings good results with starting to see
the half of the glass is full. I am sure you made all your best to settle there but there was no destiny and back to Thailand. In fact i am also sure one thing that you also love the Seychells inspite of every negative points. otherway why you should visit this topic ? anyhow you back to Thailand and Seychelles dream is over and you are on the way of your new life in Thailand. But in deeps something still calling you and you are here to answer to that ''call'' i think .And would like to request you that please present yourself here to share your ideas your experiences to all Seychelles lovers we will be always thankful to you.
Dear doctor as i mentioned that i am a mariner. once when i was still working onboard we headed for Abidjan-Ivory coast. I see a korean man who married and settled there and his 2 boys running around in the roads of the abidjan while we were speaking.
koeran man and ivory coast woman and childs..So the perspectives are so wide what i see there.(will continue)

Part 2
your words are for me so very important because you are actually been there and you have precisious experiences hope at soon you will find some jobs there and hope Seychelles will shows you another face which is full of happines.Ý am not in the position to discuss with you dirtyness of the Sesel because still i am not been there as far as i watch the webcam of the seychelles the Beau-Vallon beach and Victoria market i can not see any garbage in both camera but i see in the early morning people coming to Victoria market and buying fishes in a red plastic bags (i would love to be there to make a shopping same as with all Seychelloise do)and todays nation sc says ''Clean up Seychelles campaign continues - 12.06.06
The Department of Environment/Seychelles Breweries (SBL) district clean up campaign moved north recently with staff of the two organisations taking time out to remove rubbish from Anse Etoile and Beau Vallon.''....
regarding to chikungunya is nation sc says as follows:
STB calms Chikungunya fears - 11.02.06
Seeking to quell fears about Seychelles’ Chikungunya outbreak the Seychelles Tourism Board (STB) has sent a detailed circular to all its overseas offices explaining the extent of the problem(11.02.2006)
Doctor i am sure one day you will search again ways to back to the Seychelles due to your love to Seychelles is keeping you concern with a problems . Why i concern with a Seychelles so much? why i am so happy when you say me ''probably you are Seychellois''... the answer is simple:I love the islands I love the people . Believe me i am not in Seychelles but dreaming to be there forever. do you want a proof ? you can call my home in istanbul (90) 216 382 41 15 in the princess islands Istanbul
have a good days.
