I know, I know. The horse thing was a joke on something someone said about Magyars eating horses or something.

<quoted text> yeah same i like most styles of music. I saw Behemoth when they were here in adelaide, they definately one of the better black metal bands. I must say im impressed that you mention Lucifer too. A lot of people dont know the more underground bands. Did you go to soundwave festival the other week. That was pretty cool, metallica, slayer, offspring, blink 182,,,,the only thing that sucked was the heat. Everyone got burnt and there was way too many oeople. Took like an hour to line up and get a drink.
Nah, knocked myself out for missing that since they had a good line up and I tend to like some of the stuff from bands like Metallica, Slayer and Linkin Park. Will make it out to that next year. Cannibal Corpse is another good death metal band. Taped a Rage special they hosted one night, played bands like Mega Deth.

BTW
This is propably going to sound ridiculous, but I always wanted to ask this.

Back when I jumped on to the Iran Slav thread some Serb guy mentioned something about the Iranians and early Serbs and I think responded in an unfair way. Always regretted that blunder. That wasn't you was it ?

not sure, it doesnt matter anyhow, everyone is entitled to opinions. I do recall commenting on such thread. Which name was it? I always use name kurvatica or kurac palac pravoslavac but then again people go under peoples names so not sure. Cannibal corpse one of my all time favourites. Songs like "[email protected] with a knife" "Stripped raped and strangled" lol , gold

Don't recall the name, but thought something with K, sorry to the dude whatever he was called.

Moving on, normally like the hard rock metal bands like Mettalica, Iron Maiden, when it comes to that sort of music.

Cannibal Corpse, or even Celtic Frost, add that to the Music thread lol.

Add Van Halen to your list if you want some of the better 1980’s stuff.
No need for you to imagine when the evidence of a magnificent past of the Serbs is laid out in front of you. All you have to do is look at the legacy they left in Kosovo from an earlier age. Gracanica and Visoki Decani monasteries, place names, cities etc.
I didn't say only about Serbs but all nationalities that are a part of this forum more targeting the you as an individual not as a representer of your nation moreover speaking about that the irony of your post can be noticed from Monte Everest because speaking about civilization you can observe the "goddess in stool " and many other sculptures and creations made by Dardanians and Illyrians thousands of years ago :)

Down this far south in Melbourne for me is four months dry, maybe a little humid this summer and seven or eight months winter. Cold or hot, but I love the extremes.

I would do the barbecue, and I pride myself on it.

O.K. your reference was in relation to the posters as opposed to the nationalities. Fair enough.

Those Illyrian sculptures, ancient relics from the Romans, Thracians and others are a part of the legacy of all the Balkan peoples. Remember the Vinca culture of northern Serbia for example.

We Balkanites all have something of the Illyrian in us, even though my opinion is that we are mostly medieval ethnic constructs.

Probarly a stupid question, but you dont have snow Australia?.

If you like extremes you should have lived here. Usually we have 6 months with winter(real winter with snow and cold). Now the temperature shows -17C, so its abit cold.

We could have almost nearly -30c at the winter and up against 30+ at the summer, not often but sometimes.

Thinking of go skiing, but its to cold even if the sun warm alittle.

I realy wish i was born in a warm country like Spain or someting

Australia has plenty of snow during the winter season in the the eastern Victorian and NSW Alpine region. I do a bit of snow boarding in Mansfield during winter. We have a number of ski resorts and than we have Tasmania. Believe it or not I had a picture taken of me on Mt Wellington in Hobart one freak season when actual snow hit the place in summer.

The best pic was driving back from NSW along via the alpine region and we got out and had my lady love take a pic of me with six or so kangaroos in the background and a snow capped mountain. Post card stuff.

However, most of the country is hot, arid, tropical in the far north. Anyway it's home.

O.k. your sometimes 30 plus summers and minus 30 winters are the real extreme.

Always wanted to see Norway, the fiords, Oslo, maybe track north and see the northern lights...who knows.

Many thanks for your good explanation about you country.

Loved that kagaroos story-:).

Yes Norway has alot to offer then it comes to nature. The nature here is stunning. I rather would go to Tromsø and see the norhtern lights than Oslo. Personally i dont like Oslo.

PS: glad we can have a nice and normal and civilized conversion, let us keep it this way, arent you agree?

In my opinion you can't claim someone's nationality just based on DNA because indeed none of us is pure :) but nationality more has to do with a culture, language and civilization you own therefore Albanian's culture language and all of them above descents from Illyrians nonetheless I won't go through ups and downs because I did once with you about this topic furthermore I am sure we both will end up protecting our point of views.Gotta go now, have a test on C++.
Wish me luck and cheers o>
