It's a nice story, but I don't think that it is factual. For us, after 1526 things went downhill completely, and we will most likely never regain our former strength.
Its all downhill.

why dont you return your mums vibrator back in her draw and come to terms that vojvodina is serbian and that the hungarians have been trying to occupy it for a very long time without succsess. Even during austro/hungary times they had limited control over serbian populated vojvodina.

Fascinating youtubes on the Turkic and Mongol peoples.

Also this one with the listing of the nations that should be involved in the Turkish Mongol Union of Turan. As someone with an interest in the realistic portrayal of the Pan Turkic and Mongol movement I think we can note a few things in relation to it.

Notice that included in the Turanist movement are the nations of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Kyrgystan, Kazakhstan and Mongolia. Now the Turkic peoples include the Oghuz, Kipchak ,Turkestanien and my favourites the Siberian Turks.

Also, what was of interest in that the Hungarians are not included in the Turanian peoples. Some like TRM desperately want to be accepted and loved by Turks of the east, but also want to make out like they are the oldest Europeans in the central plains region of the Carpathian basin. Sad.Bizarre.

Thing is that TRM has, for some reason or another, been saying that the Hungarian tongue is unique in itself branching off some 5000 years ago or so from the other Uralic Altaic languages.

Something has always got me thinking when reading back Hungarian names, the history. There seems to be something else involved with the Hungarian identity, not really German or Slavic or even Turkic for that matter. Reading about the Hungarian Szekely and a few cultural practises of the Hungarians shed some light on this dilemma. I will leave that for later

Putting your fantasy maps, historical fairy tales and BS to the side, and irrespective of the current politics of Kosovo these are the facts as far as Vojvodina is concerned.

1. Vojvodina is a province of Serbia and internationally recognised as falling within Serbian borders and jurisdiction. That’s just a fact you have to accept, or even if you personally do not, it doesn’t change that reality.

2. The Hungarian population of Vojvodina is characterised by low birth rates and a dwindling population due to emigration and ethnic intermarriage, becoming assimilated into the Serbian population.

As far as your dreams of a future Hungarian ascendancy in the region are concerned that’s a no show.

Case closed.

During Austro-Hungarian times we had a lot of control over Vojvodina, as it was once again incorporated into the Hungarian Kingdom. Serbian populated? You were not even majority.

Two things characterize this post
1) its so funny when you pretend to be an expert on Hungarians. I know more about Serbs than you know about Hungarians.
2) no shit mr obvious. We are not Turks,Germanics, Finnics, and certainly not Slavs
