1 Don't be a narrow idiot. Normal people will never support anything what doesn't have common sense. This manifesto doesn't make you different from those you judge... |

1 The incident took place between two men outside of a bar. One man beat another man to within inches of his life over a "dancing with a girlfriend" issue. Then he fled the country (illegally) to avoid prosecution abroad. The conflict histories of the countries of which these individuals are citizens are of no importance. Would the serb be tried fairly in the United States? Probably not. He would have the book thrown at him due to the tendency of nations to protect their own. Will justice be served om behalf of the kid in the coma? Probably not either. The fact that this has created a new international conflict between two countries that already have standing beef is reason enough for Serbia to protect, rather than prosecute this man. The lack of extradition by Serbia further complicates the matter. This boy was recruited to play NCAA basketball in this country, and enjoyed the rights of a full citizen during his time here. Yes, he then fled like a coward. COWARD. If you are to enjoy the freedoms that american citizens are granted, and then you are to abuse them by assaulting an amerian citizen, then you should be tried in america. However, faced with the same situation, most people would do exactly as he did. Don't deny it. Self preservation is the strongest instinct. The damage done to the american is irreversible. His family will suffer for decades to come due to the outcome of this incident. As far as the serb, he may as well paint a target on his face. His stature (6'9") alone makes him pretty easy to recognize. SOMEBODY, at some time, will get a hold of him. Although it may not be any time in the near future, he will get his comeuppance. Also, the fugutive left behind two buddies (american citizens) involved in the incident, both whom have been freed on $10,000 bail. Only a COWARD would leave his friends behind to be punished for his own mess. These two will not be given any leniency, regardless of their level of involvement, as long as the original perpetrator is beyond the seemingly rather short arm of american law. Sorry for the novel. Leave serbian and american nationalism out of this discussion. Be objective, or else keep your insignificant, narrow-minded comments between you and your friends. |

1 I do agree with some your coments but the part where you mentioned that he " a coward" for leaving his "friends" behind is BS! In another article I read that those two guys that were later charged too, are pretty much against him. They were saying how he it was Miladin's fault. I don't think a friend would do that to you too. |

1 I live in Canada, because Canada needs my brain which I decided to sell to it. Why I have decided to sell it here ???? Because, this is one of the ways I can help my country and my nation. Why you, as a Croatian live in Australia - this is clear to anyone, I guess - because all criminals, including the CROATIAN WAR LORDS and CROATIAN ETHNIC CLEANSING COMMANDERS ARE FUGITIVES IN AUSTRALIA. Long live proud Serbia. |

1 You know about Serbs as much as you know about Egyptian mummies = O Go educate yourself, however if you are an Albanian (which I assume) education will not help as it is useless (no brains, just penises) |

1 That could be my mistake. However, it would be convenient for them to turn on him in the midst of this crisis. Understandably, they would not claim to be on the side of the antagonizer who started an international predicament of such magnitude. Remember, self preservation ... The two were roped into this incident and are trying to distance themselves from it no doubt. The fact that he is not around to clear their names and take the blame makes him a coward in my mind. You could be right though. My father agrees with you. I mainly thaought that the United States might impose harsh justice on these two in an attempt to prove to the Serbs that our justice is blind, but that is yet to be seen. |

I true, real friend won't turn against you when you are going down. He or she would rather go themselves than turn you in... |

1 Yes, the two who are trying to distance themselves are, in fact, Bosnian Muslims, and no wonder that they are trying to annulize their involvement now. Here again, for all of you who are clueless - Kovacevic, a Serb (Christian Orthodox) was trying to help a Muslim and his girlfriend. Too sad, this whole situation became so ugly in the end, but no wonder about the Muslims - now they are tyrning their backs, when the situation got tough..... Kovacevic was naive and was used in this whole conflict.... |

1 Or maybe we will turn him in in exchange for the US pilot who bombed Serbian National TV station in 1999. By the way for those of you who don't know some 20 people died in that bombing... But they are just collateral damage right? well no wonder Kovacevic doesn't trust the US justice system... |
