Fr. Rafiq Greiche, spokesman for Egypt's Catholic bishops, told Vatican Radio today that "40 churches - 10 Catholic and 30 Orthodox, Protestant and Greek-Orthodox - have been looted or burned, if not totally destroyed."

Kerolos, an Egyptian Christian, has sent Protect the Pope a list of 64 churches burnt in one day by Muslim Brotherhood terrorists. It is a shocking list that catalogues the frenzy of Muslim violence against Christians in the wake of the military action in Cairo. And still the Main Stream Media turn a blind eye to this act of ethnic cleansing being perpetrated by Muslims against Christians

Under siege: Christian churches burn across Egypt
August 16, 2013
__________

It's unclear how many churches have been affected during violence that has left more than 600 dead, but several non-governmental agencies and international media reports have cited at least 50 church attacks in cities including Cairo, Alexandria, Minya and Suez. Many churches have been burned to the ground.

Much of the violence has been against Copts, a religious minority that represents about 10 percent of the 84 million people in Egypt. Attacks against Anglican and Catholic churches as well as Christian schools also have been reported.

Black Friday for Christians
__________

Church in Sohag, south of Cairo, while in the village of Dalga, three churches and six buildings within the grounds of the 5th-century Monastery of the Holy Virgin and Anba Abra’am, housing a clinic, a retreat centre, a pre-school nursery, and the bishop’s residence, were set on fire.

In the Minya region, south of Cairo, police stations in Matai and Beni-Mazar were targeted.

The church of Mar-Mina in the Abu-Hilal district and a clinic operated by the church were set alight, as were two churches in the Fayoum villages of Nazla and Youssef al-Seddiq and the Society of the Holy Bible in the town of Fayoum, approximately 100km southwest of Cairo.

In the town of Suez, 100km east of Cairo, the church and the school of the Good Shepherd were set on fire by the Islamists, who also blocked the road to prevent fire trucks from reaching the area.

The Anglican News Service also confirmed that St Saviour’s Anglican Church in Suez was attacked by supporters of former president Morsi, who threw Molotov cocktails and stones at the church while also destroying the car of the priest in charge of St Saviour’s, Ehab Ayoub....

Muslim Brotherhood parade nuns through the streets like prisoners of war after attack on Franciscan school
__________

The Muslim Brotherhood have paraded three nuns through the streets like prisoners of war and sexually assaulted their lay colleagues after attacking and burning a Franciscan school. One of the Franciscan sisters said:

“We are nuns. We rely on God and the angels to protect us. At the end, they paraded us like prisoners of war and hurled abuse at us as they led us from one alley to another without telling us where they were taking us.”

Two Christian women member of staff were also attacked and sexually assaulted by members of the Muslim Brotherhood. According to one of the Franciscan nuns who witnessed the sexual assault, the two members of staff ad to fight their way out of the mob, while being groped, hit and insulted by the extremists.

Muslim Brotherhood leader arrested
__________

http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/08/20/us-...

The Muslim trash is behind the bars. Now maybe America will support another democratic "moderate" (as some Albanians like to use) muslim brother, who will passionately wait his time to burn some other Christian Churches....

Yes he is in jailhouse but muslim sisterhood already installed a new leader to take his place. And his arrest will make the things even worse

The same group of militant Muslims who destroyed a great deal of Serb Orthodox Churches in Kosovo in one day in 2004 are probably the same group of militant Muslims who very recently burned 64 Coptic Christian churches in Egypt in one day. How do we know that KLA Muslims from Kosovo are not going to Egypt to "bring down" the current regime and re-install the government of Muslim Brotherhood ex-President of Egypt Morsi? After all, KLA Kosovo Muslims are going to Syria to "bring down" the current government of President Bashar al-Assad.

"Most of my friends were Muslims. We used to go on outings together and some would call to me from below my house so we could walk to school," recalls Helmy with a smile.

Now a housewife in her 40s, she sends her daughter Christine and son Kirollos to a private Christian school and forbids them from mingling with Muslim children to protect them from insults.

"I do this out of fear for my child. Not because she's a girl. Kirollos is also prohibited from going out with Muslims."

Helmy said she had stopped speaking to most of her Muslim neighbours after one of them called her housekeeper the daughter of a 'blue bone', a pejorative name for Christians.

egyptian army who overthrow muslim brotherhood by military corp is muslim in 99% so those who are fighting muslim brotherhood group are muslim egyptian army. In regard to churches in my personal opinion Coptic pope mad a big mistake by announcing on TV his full support to military corp against very dangerous brotherhood. It wasnt smart move..He was indeed suppose to let those two sides fight and keep neutral because copts are a big minority and in dictatorship nations minorities better stay neutral

Egyptians royal family was purely from great Muhamed Ali descent and last one was King Farouk. He was one of rare leaders to defat Othomans(also crete was under his control, along with most of middle east, saudi arabia, sudan etc) ever. He is in fact The Founder of Modern Egypt. he destroyed wahabi movment in saudi arabia. His goal was to establish a powerful, European-style state train a professional bureaucracy, and build a modern military. He sent promising men to Europe to study. Students were sent to study European languages, primarily French etc so what the hell are you blabbering about Baronu
