Czech Republic is opposed to the entry of Albania into the European Union and is ready to use its veto power, said Czech Prime Minister Jiri Rusnok. Voting on cooperation with Albania is planned for the EU summit in June of 2014. year. "Netherlands, Germany, France and Britain are also not enthusiastic about the potential entry into the EU of this wonderful country full of drug dealers," said Rusnok.

Turko-Albanians have no place in the European continent. Turkish leftovers are not welcome.

Well, first of all this is a government in demission - there will be a new one since January. However, one can expect a high level of continuity when it comes to foreign policy issues. In any case they should clearly state the actual reasons for such a move, so that this becomes a transparent process and the Albanian government have a chance to remove the obstacle. There is this arbitration between the energy gigant CEZ and the Albanian government which I hope will be resolved through legal means and not politically - EU members are supposed to be partners and close allies; it wouldn't be good for the future if any kind of injustice burdened our relations.
All in all, I hope that the CEZ case isn't the actual cause for the possible veto, because that case should be left to lawyers. I hope that the point of contention relates rather to those drug issues etc. Besides, three Czechs went missing in Albania in early 2000s, of whose fates we know absolutely nothing - more could perhaps have been done as far as investigation of that case is concerned.

Perhaps Shiptars are not welcome in Europa for the same reason that the Turks are not welcome.

If Turks are not welcome in Europa it should be logical that their leftovers Turko-Albanians in the Balkans are also not welcome. Just to remind you that the whole Balkans got visa-free travel EXCEPT Turko-Albanians from fake kosovA.

Lets face facts, I don't think the crumbling EU really gives a sht for Muslim Albanians or Orthodox Christian Serbs beyond what benefit they can get from a people they consider culturally and religiously distant from them.

Personally, I cant see the reason for a competition about what the majority Catholic and Protestant EU want in their shtty conglomerate, although I understand some eastern Europeans jerk themselves about being loved by western Europe lol.

well spoken, couldn't have said it better myself

I too cant get it in my head, those same catholics and western europians, they always worked against Orthodox people, always waged wars against them and against Eastern Europians and now suddenly, they want friendship, they want to suck us into some union with them. Why, it's strange a lil, I doubt that's because of friendship. After centuries and centuries of our our blood spilt they remembered us now. Well, too late.

Why is europe really "uniting"? What's the reason, why are europian union, north american union, asian union, african union, south american union, pacific/oceanian union being formed?

You could have seen that tiny Slovenia blocked Croatia for quite a long time. It's not like if Germany insists on having Albania in EU, the Czechs can afford to veto them, but in a situation where Germany's position isn't that imperative, the room for the other member states is quite big. Besides, the Czech Stefan Fule holds the position of the Enlargement Commissioner. Though he is an EU officer and nominally absolutely independent of the Czech MFA, he wouldn't in practice act contrary to Czechia's position.
