Are there any horses left roaming on the island of Tonga?

I have not been to Tonga so I am wondering about this matter.

Yes. i have family who live in Tonga and i regularly sail there. Horses in Tonga are as numerous as there are in Samoa, we just dont eat them.

Most farming families in Tonga use horses as transport or as work horses, which is the same as in Samoa.

There's many wild horses roaming the rainforest/jungle in 'Eua...

Yes, many Tongans still eat horse but there's more horse then even Tongans can handle. There's horses domesticated for riding on, some are bred to plow and pull wagons, and some are just are fed but left to be semi wild and one day will end up on the dinner platter of a Tongan household, LOL...

lol... i thought horses would be extinct by now in tonga...what about dogs?

probably not , one horse is one serve per toga , I doubt they were ever smart enough or even the patients to breed more , just eat eat eat lol, that's why many toga's here are banned from all tabs , they get violent when told u have to place a bet not an order

lol , yes Chinese are on a lookout for toga's , they always put the close sign up when toga's waddle towards their shop fearing these fattys will empty the shop out , toga's will bully and demand a huge discount , discounts are not in the Chinese vocabulary but toga's will eat a Chinese to compensate for declining of any discount they demand lol
