And just for general knowledge sake, Poly's don't have Tui's! Only Fiji and Tonga, who are mixed Melanesians. Polynesia don't have Tui as titles, therefore samoa's past Tui's were either from Fiji or had influences from Fiji. Why Fiji? because everything began in Fiji, including creation, now deal with it lol

Here we go again with the smack talking. Search up the 'Tui title Polynesia' This is what you'll find...

"Tu'i, also spelled more simplistically Tui, is a POLYNESIAN traditional title for tribal chiefs or princes."

Tonga has it, Wallis and Futuna has it, Samoa has it.

The only reason Fiji has it is because of the Polynesian influence, not the other way around moron.

Common sense has left humanity...
All those islands have links to Fiji. The yavusa Futuna in Northern Fiji, the Tongan links to Lau and nadroga province, Samoan links to Yasawa; Vanua levu; and various other parts. All those islands put together is still smaller than half of Fiji in terms of land, tribal variety, and population.

Wouldn't you think that if it was a Polynesian influence, it would have been practiced in its purest form among Polynesian islands that have the least exposure to other races in the pacific..i.e, Hawaii, French Polynesia, Tahiti and Aotearoa? Isolated spots that practiced pure Asiatic societies... Also given the fact that they are more numerous and unspoilt than Tonga and Samoa who are related to Fijians?

And if it was a Polynesian thing, why is its use much more extensive in Fiji than in Samoa and Tonga? And why more-so in Tonga than Samoa, given the fact that Tongans are close with Fijians, given the fact that Fijians are Melanesian? In saying that, why does it seem that the closer the Polynesian Island is to Fiji, the more extensive it's use, and the further the Polynesian island is from Fiji, it suddenly seizes to exist?

Well answer me this, why is it that Fiji is the only Melanesian islands to have the title yet not any others?? You speak of links between Fiji and other islands in Polynesia but you don't give proof of that having anything to do with the Tui/Tu'i title. I could make the point that the title started in either Tonga or Samoa since Wallis and Futuna have lots more connections to each than to Fiji. But connections are not enough, actual PROOF is needed. The best you can give me is circumstantial evidence ("connections") and it's sad. Fiji is considered a Polynesian outlier which means it has been influenced heavily by Polynesians but is not actually considered apart of Polynesia. That speaks for itself.

You also haven't explained why the Tu'i/Tui title is described as a 'POLYNESIAN title' and not 'a Fijian title used in Polynesia'. I guess the Lakalaka is Fijian in origin too then?? LMAO...

That's the problem here... People claiming Fijian culture as their own! Before I answer your questions, answer my ones first!
Why isn't there a Tui in Cook Islands, Rapanui, Tahiti, Hawaii?

Tui is a Fijian word!
What does Tui mean in Samoa?
