Here's even more evidence that further supports the 'Slow-boat' model of migration. The study was also conducted in 2012 which is 4 years more recent then the study you posted.

Good read. It looks like you're learning when it comes to using the latest studies. One thing I don't understand is why you argued with me in the first place. My very first post on this thread went something like this...
"My conclusion would be that there needs to be years of more research to finally know for sure and without any doubts which theory (the 'Express Train Model', the 'Entangled Bank Model' or the 'Slow Boat Model') is the right one. There is alot of evidence for all sides.
So it's pointless to continue this dumb debate. Either way, the ancestors of Polynesians passed through Melanesia. The only issue seems to be how long and how much did Polynesians and Melanesians interact and interbred."
You're more recent posts seem to agree with what I said here so I'm confused to why there was any disagreement.

Admitting defeat? the latest evidence suggests the 'Slow boat model' of migration is correct according to your standards.I tried to explain my point before but you couldn't grasp it, so now I'm just giving it to you in a way you can.

It makes more sense to me that,...a combination of all the supposed theories took place,...I mean, the migrations happened over decades, even centuries. How can anyone definitively say that one or the other occurred for certain? Absurd,...IMO.

Defeat?? I already told you before that I don't care which theory is the correct one, I only said it was false to assume at this time which one is right and which one is wrong. I only said that the evidence leaned towards the 'Express Train Theory' because the latest link I had seen (the 2008 one) indicated so. But after seeing your link I'd now say that the latest evidence seems to lean towards to the 'Slow Boat Theory'. But it would still be wrong to discard the 'Express Train Theory' or the 'Entangled Bank Theory'.

So I can't see how I'm 'defeated' when I never backed any particular theory.
