My instincts tell me you're not far from the truth,...and I like your enthusiasm, Uso. But, you know you have to provide sources to back up your claims. Otherwise,...you're no more credible than our local (forum) historians on here. lol.

684renegade, I could of wrote an entire biography with my first entry, but something told me to go easy on these morons. But with all joking aside, all i will say is there is absolutely no reason to provide sources to back up my claims. It's PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE. You know where I received my public knowledge on Micronesian/Polynesian Studies for 2 years at? An institution named Cal Berkeley. But who cares? I don't give a shit what school or university anybody attended to achieve this wisdom, the point being, and I hope everyone is reading this, that the term "public knowledge" defines a broad spectrum, i.e. any public library on this planet will educate you on this topic and "The Rise of The Pacific" on which the island of Samoa completely and with full discression, battled/invaded half the south pacific islands we know today. You see where it becomes problematic and when i find myself debating on forums consisting of ignorant people, is when these actual people on here don't have the motivation or passion to get up off their lazy asses and find out for themselves. That's discovering history. No fairy tales here, no need for backing credentials, it merely comes down to educating yourself. Much love uce, and thank you for the support. None of this is directed at you, but I had to use your quote as a platform for everybody to see. Yea malo, TofaSoifua

Historically, traditionally, and factually the Samoan people nearly anihilated almost every Polynesian island between 459 BC - 448 BC. There is no argument. This era was known as The Pacific Rise, included was the Battle of Fiji, in which the Samoans lost a lot of people but not nearly as close as what the Fijians lost. The first set of kings to rule Tonga were of Samoan ancestry, due to the succesful campaigns of the Samoans in The Pacific Rise. Everyone in this forum should recognize history first, and allow education to sink in. You are embarrassing the Polynesian people as a whole. Facts are facts, and should be respected accordingly. Many traditions that are practiced today of neighboring islands around Samoa, were essentially influenced early on by Samoan culture. EG: 457 BC, Samoa attacked the Wallis Isles, after successfully capturing the island, the Samoans forced all of the islands inhabitants to learn the samoan language. Hence the overwhelming similarity today of the 2 languages. I guess the point I'm trying to convey here is if the argument is who copied who? Then I would of to rest my laurels on what history has proven to us. In that region of the pacific, the Samoan people had a tremendous impact on everything we call life in what we call Polynesia today...
Using exact dates already puts this 'history' into serious doubt.
