I was born in a Mormon family but when I was 11 I was sent to live with my uncle who were LMS members.
There I attended the LSM sunday school and got to mee the Faifeau of our village by the name of Alefaio. He was an old old man, a very kind and gracious man. He liked me because I scored second place on the sunday school test for all the kids after just attending sunday school for five weeks. Two week later they sent me to the Faifeau 's house with two other kids to cook and serve the food for the faifeau. After dinner that night, he wanted to talk to me. First thing he said to me was " dont go back to the Mormon church" I wasnt surprised he said that. Then he started talking about all other churches and how samoa are being divided by all these different religion. I wasnt sure what his motive was or maybe he was just bad mouthing all the other churchs. But then he started talking about Tagaloa. I was surprised that he talked really highly of Tagaloa as if he was his God at the moment. He said "Tagaloa was our ancient God and also the father of all Samoan, Tongan and Fijian. He was a kind man and he really love his children. Tagaloas teaching is very similar to that of the bible. He told me a lot about Tagaloa that I didnt know. I was a bit confused at this point and trying to understand where hes going with this. But then he said something that I never forget til this day. He said, " Im thankful to John William for bringing the Goodword, it ended our wars and save many lives, but it came with a cost that we will not pay for it now but many years in the future. There comes a time that Samoa will war with each other because of different in religion and I can already feel it in my body". I moved to the US few years later but never forget what this faifeau told me. And now I realized that this faifeau saw a vision that I have no doubt in my mind that it will come true in the future. The evidence is happening around the world today with countries going to war with each other because of religion. We cannot be divided or else our children will suffer in the future. We need to reunite and go back to our Father. Male fa'aaloalo lava |

I believe that we will loose our Identity and culture by continuing with christianity. But more importantly it will divide us forever and cause war among yourself.
Look at whats happening between Mormon and LMS Christians, they already hate each other. This is whats happening to Islam and Judaism which pretty much the same religion but they now killing each other for the right to ownership of their God. The truth is, Islam mirrors Judaism only that Muhammad change some of the text to make his own. This same thing will happen to Mormon and all other branch of christianity. Only one must prevail. |

everyone knows SINA was the mother of fijian ,SAMOAN and Tongan "Tagaloa was our ancient God and also the father of all Samoan, Tongan and Fijian but dark skin who's fault was it to cause the 3 family clans to war from our side in fijian and Tongan it looks like SAMOA betrayed our trust aye.

ok Tui I hear you my brother and I think its time to end this non sense fight and come together for the sake of our race, culture, identity and more importantly the future of our children. I know we have done wrong to each other in the past and it causes a lot of pain to each other. One thing I know for sure is that we are all one blood and one flesh. I know before any of the Tui came to exist, only Tagaloa was the king. But then after the Tui Tonga, Tui Fiti And Tui Manua was created, things got complicated. Only one must prevail and become the KIng that rules all. Its been a long time now and we can all put this behind and come together as one again under our Father Tagaloa. Im hopeful we can do this. |

you can never try making peace or negotiate with these backstabbing apes ,even if u try a civilized conversation they will show little commitment and within a blink of an eye these toga and fiti mongrels will try twist and make it into a verbal confrontation . never trust them their hatred still burns towards Samoans, don't waste your time |

sasa, I understand your frustration. I found topix a week ago and when I read some of the thing that was said about Samoa, it really put me in a fighting mode and so I started fighting back. But after a week, I am tired, I dont have the energy to keep on going with this, its non sense, it will never end unless someone put the efforts to try and make peace. I realized the danger on saying ugly things on a board like this can be very damaging to our three country's relationship and also to our image to the outside world. I regret saying the things I've said about Tonga and Fiji and I just want to apologize for the hate that it caused. It will end here. I know there will always those who thrived on hate and will always hate no matter what, but I know most of us have love and very forgiven as long as we apologized to each other. soifua |

Cheers Savaii... "after a week, you grew tired"!!! smh. Normally, I'd lube it up and slap you sideways? But because I know your heart is pure and your request for peace is genuine and becuase your an uso and not a horseeater or jackson5 gollywog I'll let it slide....
Good luck with your mission Savaii, but like my uce Sasa, there's alot of ulavale's out there in the big bad web that's been badmouthing our country, our families, our culture, our very existence that I like some of our people reading this. feel the strong need to give them a moko on their guku if you get my meaning?!? And starting with dingdong |

Judged: 1 1 lol I see your point and I admired your love for Samoa. I think two people arguing each other is a normal part of life but when a person used race to intensify the damage of his attach, thats when it gets ugly and should never happen. you sure gave me a good laugh,...manuia le aso uce |

Sawaii i agree with your post. My whole family is Christian, but i see Christianity has it's flaws and i like to learn more about my ancestors gods. I don't understand why people don't want to honor Kanaloa and our other gods. It distgust me sometimes, but i noticed more and more of my generation are leaning to my peoples own ways.
The 2 generations before mines are brain washed IMO. I understand Chistianity is a good religion, all reigion works. I wish more Polys understood OUR religion works just as well. |
