Whaitiri, who was the wife of Kai Tangata, the ancestor of the maoris was a Fijian woman. She was the grandmother of Tawhaki, who is the father of the cook islanders and Maoris!

This practice was given to Samoa from Fiji without proper understanding of the ritual. The Samoans took it in and bore the curse of pride in its entirety. Samoans were fully immersed in a ritual that was so terrifying to Fijian people, that only the religious women(witches) practiced it and not the men.

Pride is a curse, take it out of your heart and mind. Bury it, that it may not rise the second time. Empty your heart with pride, and hate will disappear in the sight of humbleness. Honor and wisdom will soon follow, and lead you to power.

Note to self: The small steps gained by these Neolithics such as the imitation of a higher cultures musical style is quickly nullified by their false sense of grandeur. What I find really amusing is how hard they cling to what white explorers 300 years ago thought they were.It makes them feel validated. I mean even romance novels are taken as gospel.It's really an indication of small minds yearning for acceptance. Imagine how they would go off if we had a Polynesian president in the US? They'd probably take to the streets everyday proclaiming to the world how god like and important they are.
