Why are you so caught up on my views on Indians? We are a warlike people, and our language reflect this! The Fijian word 'smack' does also mean,'to club'. So don't be to quick to judge my choice of words. And by the way, you're not having to put up with them, are you? So sit the faq back and take it in coz you don't know nothing about the what goes down behind the scenes...

I don't understand what did Indians do?
Almost half the population of Fiji are descendants of East-Indian workers that were brought to work in the farms around Fiji about 150 years ago. If you didn't know, Fiji is the most turbulent country in the pacific and that is due mainly to the racism between Fijians and Indians. We've had alot of coups that were racially driven.

But back in the day, Fijians loved and respected the Indians as if they were their own kinsmen. We even put up with their grumblings during the world wars, and some of us have gone to the extreme of compensating them for their enslavement under the white-man by giving them land for their families to settle. They only ended up exploiting the generous character of the Fijians and abused our friendship. They even chose not to integrate into our culture, infact, they despise our culture and our people. They chose to live in closed communities and expect Fijians to respect their religion, which we obviously did. And Fijians did not give much fuss about it, and even if we had complaints, we had it bottled up.

It was only after an Indian led government was elected that things started heating up. The Indian prime minister wanted to abolish the traditional ownership of land and planned to distribute some to Indians who made up half the population at that time. And during a visit to India for talks for a Fiji/India trade partnership, where he made a remark calling Fiji,'a little India'. Hahaha. And this was fueled by furious leaders in Parliament openly called for the removal of Indians back to India!

LOL cut the story short, the Prime Minister ended up as a hostage inside the Parliament house for a couple of months by armed rogue Special forces soldiers, while Fiji plunged into a free-for-all. This began a massive migration of Indians into countries like NZ and Australia. These Indians in-turn criticized everything about Fiji and Fijians. This gave rise to the current dictator who believes he can control the misbehaving Fijians and unite both races. But Fijians just don't give a toss what anyone says anymore...lol.

Blacks have had the same issues with East indians in Trinidad so it's no wonder that you are having issues with indians the sad part is I heard these indians believe that they are better than blacks even though alot of them are even darker than some Afro Trinidadians and are obviously of inferior stock. smh.

Did you know there were Indians in Africa but African's kicked them out and commenced a genocide on them?

Afterwards they never really to much liked Africans.

Wow... I didn't know that! I guess they are all the same lol. Even one of Fiji's brilliant leaders said,'A good Indian is a dead Indian'... And thats what he actually said point blank with no apology!
And the sad thing about the whole shabang was that Fijians learned to love Indians and even tried to learn their language to help communicate with them. But they simply spat in our faces and resorted to insults behind the wire-fence... But I guess it was what we needed as a people because it united Fijians for the first time and made us realise that we 'Fijians' are 'one people','one kinsmen','a peculiar race of our own'. Because in the past thousands of years, we were fighting amongst ourselves for and saw our own separate tribes as foreigners that were no different to foreigners like Tongans and Samoans. That is probably why Fijians have become humble and peaceful.

And this turmoil with the Indians have somewhat been a focal point between some of the racial discrimination from Samoans towards Fijians claiming Indians are taking over a people so revered in the past...

Anyway, enough about Fiji... Carry on owning these sahomos hahaha

Hmmmmm...spare me the, "we are a warlike people," talk. KavaFarmer, there certainly is a huge difference between "smack", "club".... and the systematic and intentional/deliberate act of annihilating a ethnic group or race of people from the face of the earth.

You mean that you lack such humanity that you propose that the solution to the problem is genocide? Your choice of words?
Your choice of words are an insult to humanity.

humanity is something savages do not understand, riots in fiti or aa or tongans or africans or jamaicans is very normal.. Ethnic cleansing is unheard of in samoa
