Dear Mayelamingi, I thank you for your reply and question. In response:
1. M23 is fighting for sustainable peace in the Central Africa and the Great Lakes Region. Except the irresponsibility of the centralised power of Kinshasa, all the causes of the Congolese crisis reside in Kivu at the point one might be led to conclude that the Congolese crisis is nothing else than the nationalized Kivu-Question. When M23 is fighting for durable peace in Kivu, it is resolving at the same time the Congolese crisis, the Central African and the Great Lakes Region issues (Killing three birds in using one stone). This is noble to me, that is why I concluded that M23's cause is a noble one.
2. Concerning FDLR, we need to recognise that Rwanda and DRCongo are two close neigbhours sharing common borders, and they are therefore obligated to protect one another. FDLR's members cannot justify the 1000000 Tutsi killed in 1994 in Rwanda by the assassination of Habyarimana simply because he was not killed by the million of the innocent victims of FDLR. For instance, few years later, Laurent Kabila was assassinated in Kinshasa, but there was not such a retrograde reaction. Moreover, the usage of the Congolese territory to entertain Rwanda's enemies and the support FDLR enjoys from Congolese constitute a weakness in the stabilisation of the whole region, and in the pacific cohabitation of Kivu ethnics. I therefore affirm that to eliminate FDLR might resolve the problem of the Region at more than 90%. I thank you for your time and attention to these matters.
