Lol a Greek is actually accusing someone else of being Lazy. Who's country is the one with the only source of income being bailouts from Germany and the EU lol.

I think Bulgarians have stronger ties to non-white people, not Mongols since they don't have any Mongol features, possibly Indians. I don't mean that as an insult, I mean as a complement. I have noticed that non-whites, especially Indians, Blacks and Native Americans/Latinos are generally much less evil than white people, I have hardly seen an African being proud of bringing harm and misery to someone else, whereas I have seen British people being proud of colonizing half the world and committing genocide in various colonies, I have seen Germans worship Hitler and his policies and recently I have seen Russians proud of whipping someone else's arses.

So Bulgaria was founded in 681? Well, first mistake my friend. In 681it was created Dunavska Bulgaria. Bulgaria exists since China was created [or after a lot of time of China getting created]. You are right about it being older than Russia. By the way why do put that subject in. Does it really matter when did Russia or Bulgaria got created? Well, the last thing i have to tell is that when you said Slavic pigs you me meant the Bulgarians since we are slavs. PS: I am Bulgarian

Also something funny I see in this thread are Russians calling Bulgaria poorest in Europe. What I say to those people is take a look in their own backyard before looking in someone else's.
Russia is the world's largest country and a land of great mineral wealth possibly the richest when it comes to natural resources in the whole WORLD. It is second only to Saudi Arabia when it comes to petroleum reserves, and second only to Iran when it comes to natural gas reserves, that's not even talking about all the rare minerals which only Russia posses. Russia is completely self-sufficient in energy, it does not need to import gas/oil from anyone to survive the winter or to provide fuel for their cars. In-fact when it comes to mineral/fossil fuel/energy resources Russia does not need to import anything from anyone at all, meaning they should be completely self-sufficient, not dependent on anyone, at least when it comes to industry. Russia also is a permanent member in the UNSC, and has the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the world, the only country having the same, or of comparable, size of their stockpile being the United States of America. When we speak of military power there are many which may come to mind, UK, France, China, Turkey, Israel, Pakistan, India, Iran but only two which come to mind when speak of military superpowers the USA and Russia. Nobody would ever dare invade or come into a confrontation either of these two military superpowers. The only ones which tried, e.g. Georgia, failed miserable and surrendered quickly in a matter of days.

Now lets take a look at Bulgaria, it is a small country by territory and population. It is by the most part poor in natural resources, no oil, no gas, no gold, no diamonds. The most it has is agriculture and water resources to feed its people, and uranium (nuclear energy) to meet some of its electricity needs. It also has a few natural wonders but that's about it. It's winters are cold though not as cold as Russia's but still cold enough to require some form of heating, to not freeze to death, usually in the form of gas which needs to be imported either from Russia, Azerbaijan or Iran, this already places it in a position of dependency, not even mentioning that petroleum for cars also needs to be imported. This makes the country rather limited in its options for industry, but still the country needs to produce something it cannot survive as a banana republic (resources-based economy) selling only one raw material such as oil, gas, gold or platinum and still be rich, whatever it needs to produce it needs to import the resources for it, meaning it needs an initial foreign investment to kick start its industrial base, which is usually in the form of a loan with high interest and a stringent set of loan conditions especially if its coming from the IMF - the biggest International creditor. Think of it as an entrepreneur coming from a poor family. Again this puts Bulgaria into a greater position of dependency, where foreign powers are in control of its destiny, even if its destiny is not what Bulgarians desire for themselves. When it comes to military power Bulgaria is very poor, no nuclear stockpile, limited low-tech equipment, very limited manpower with its low population. Of course military power does not define prosperity, but in the case of Bulgaria it has a large military powerhouse as its neighbor: Turkey, one at which has invaded other countries in the past (Cyprus) and still occupies half of their territory, what's more it has made several threats against its other neighbors and has vowed on more than one occasion to rebuild the Ottoman Empire. With this unfortunate situation Bulgaria cannot survive outside a military and political bloc, it would be invaded and crushed immediately and no one would care, no one would even notice, at most they ask "Bulgaria?? Where is that?". Again this makes Bulgaria entirely dependent on foreign powers, meaning if it wants to survive it doesn't have much of a choice whether it aligns with Nazis, Communists, Nato or the EU, it aligns with whoever is the most powerful and whoever is the biggest threat, to keep itself from going extinct, there are others like Serbia who try to put up a fight but as we saw in 1999, it didn't go so well.

Judging by all the above factors Russia should be much, much, much, much richer than Bulgaria, it is predisposed to be, it has been given a lot more to begin with. In fact Russia should be much, much, much richer than any country in the whole world, it should be the world's most developed country with the highest living standard, everybody should be breaking down doors to get into Russia. Yet this is far from reality. It is MUCH poorer and has a MUCH lower living standard than other MUCH smaller countries which have been given MUCH less to begin with such as Denmark one very small peninsula and a few islands, Austria (a small central European country in the Alps with no resources), Switzerland, South Korea (what do they have, not even space for their own people), Singapore one of the world's smallest countries (700 sq km) with one of the world's highest population densities and again no resources. Germany a country much smaller than Russia, with much less resources and much less people produces and exports much more products (not raw materials) than Russia, even certain Eastern European countries such as the Czech Republic have a higher living standard than Russia. Countries of similar resources wealth (though not as wealthy as Russia) such as Canada are 1000x richer, 1000x more developed Russia and have a living standard 1000x higher than Russia. If we look at things on the European scale Russia is amongst Europe's poorest when it comes to standard of living for the majority, not much richer than Bulgaria, in-fact some areas of Russia are as poor if not poorer than Bulgaria's poorest regions. The average Russian lives the same as the average Bulgarian, in a crumbling tower block with hardly enough money to afford food and winter heat, forget about luxuries. What's more Russia has one of the highest costs of living in the world, I think Moscow was the most expensive city in the world, why is that for a country with so many natural resources which imports almost nothing. For Bulgaria its understandable why its not the richest, in-fact I think its actually doing relatively well when taking into account its situation, but why is Russia as poor as it is, why??? Maybe you should answer that question before criticizing other countries with much less resources.
