A Canadian couple was strolling through a park in London and sat down on a bench next to an elderly Briton. The Brit noticed their lapel pins sporting the Canadian flag and, to make conversation, said "Judging by your pins, you must be Canadians".

"Indeed we are", replied the Canadian gentleman.

"I hope you won't mind my asking," said the Brit, "but what do the two red bars on your flag represent?"

"Well," replied the Canadian gentlman, "one of the bars stands for the courage and hardiness of our people in settling the cold expanses and broad prairies of our country. The other is for the honesty and integrity for which Canadians are known."

The Brit mulled this over and nodded. Having poor eyesight at his advanced age, and not being familiar with maple leaves, he then asked, "And what's that six-pointed item in the middle of your flag?"

"Oh, that's to remind us of the six words of our national motto," the Canadian lady piped up.

The Brit asked, "And what are those six words?"

The Canadian smiled and replied, "They are 'Don't blame us - we're not Americans.'"

“Hello. America? It's me.”

Remember?=)) Helicopter washing machine is ridiculous. But if the helicopter is operated Russian driver then epic failure would have happened. U.S. helicopters can not fly without Russian MI-26?

Hmm. I do not like this music. I respect Jazz, Blues of Misissipy, I like and more other music too. e.g. Deep Purple, Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Portishead (forexample Glory box) etc. I'm very respect Classic music 18-19 century, Russian classic. Know many West Composers and songers. But don't understand music in your link, sorry =)
<quoted text>Yes, I know Fusion, it is a style of jazz. But I do not like. I have more respect for Bi-BOP.
<quoted text>I understand, thanks.
Actually, "Fusion" need not be just a Jazz idiom. Musicologically, it's just a term for syncretism.

I think "Lux Aurumque" qualifies as a choral "tone poem". Mostly though, it just was the first time a choir was composed of individuals all recorded individually. A gimmick. A post-modern/New Age fusion.

Syncretic in our case simply means that we sing musical styles from anywhere and any time, as long as it is good composition for it's genre. It refers to our taste, not to a specific genre.

Leonid, you really need to learn to type URLs correctly, or go to the site and copy the URL from the address bar and paste it into your post.
