In truth there are likely CIA operatives in Monaco and Fiji. To imagine the USA only spies on our enemies is...

WRONG! The CIA has outsourced its spying in Monaco to Haliburton. You can find their agents playing baccarat at the casino with taxpayer money. Any losses are folded into their cost plus contract.

When the 4 naval battle groups of the Russian Federation disperse back to their ports. They are combined for training in amphibious landings , parachute assaults, helicopter.. artillery... naval support ops. Far as I know they travelled from the black sea and Mediterranean haven't heard where they are now. The US has two aircraft-carrier groups floating around there too same as the combined brit/french group. Time will tell. I suppose watch Turkey for troop buildups.

By financing war in Syria and maintaining divides the Russian presence is strictly to make sure
1) port stays open; strategic value
2) weapon sales continue bringing in top dollar
3) under no circumstances does Russia want a Qatar pipeline to run natural gas into Europe thus breaching the Russian monopoly.

The continued war without an end will cost us all if it expands into lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, turkey and Egypt. The Suez Canal will become an issue, the west has parachuted soldiers on the canal in past history and will probably again if the lawlessness continues. Even Egyptian police and soldiers are being attacked there daily & some taken hostage. By forcing Israel to defend herself the west will be forced in when Syria or Iran strike out at Israel in response. Like all wars in the past the west will not be defeated, Russia knows this and will capitalize until the money runs out. When the smoke clears I'd be intrigued to see who putins new bed fellows will be in region. Not even Iran plays nice with Russia.

The Russian assertions are childish.

The CIA hasn't used such primitive methods or equipment in decades.

I agree. Egypt was much better off before Washington backed the Islamist rabble in the street and helped topple Mubarak. Same with Libya and Qadhafi. We should all understand by now that Assad is the best bet in Syria. As is Ahmedinejad in Iran.

Why is the west cluelessly supporting the antiwestern radicals?

This arab spring policy of Obama's is clueless. Going around trying to topple pretty much every government in the Moslem world. We all miss the relative stability of Bush/Cheney.)-:
