surely that's you dear :)

Mercury has been described as a victorian chimney stack by one Guardian reader. That pretty much stacks up.

The shard is simply stunning. Plus it is in a historic business district.

In comparison to the shard that "slashed the face of London forever"?
Stupid Brits can't even build a pyramid right!

The commissioner is quoted by Interfax as saying 'It demonstrates that all of Russia is on a level with countries of the eurozone, continuing its planned development and moving forward.'.....

Clearly the American architect who designed the eyesore took his inspiration from Victorian chimney architecture. Victoriana doesn't translate well to skyscrapers. It has to be the ugliest skyscraper in the World.

You imply that's what the article states but it was just some troll who commented. It does not look like a chimney, you moron!
Now defend your UGly shard! It even has an ugly name! "Oh, let's meet at the SHARD for lunch". It sounds like a threat! Businesses will probably lose half their customers for that alone. An UGly name to match an UGly building.

When was that poll taken? Have all those people been to London since the Shard was built? The Shard that slashed the face of London forever?

The mercury looks just like an ugly victorian chimney stack. Such a waste of money.

The Shard looks just like the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco, your neck of the woods I believe (you are still living in Springfield Homersville are you not?).

So if you think this building is ugly then you would have to admit San Francisco is ugly too. Why not just admit you're totally biased towards the chimney stack because of your Russian mum.
