Terrific ride by Sagan.
A wise head on the Slovak shoulders as he ignored offers from second placed Cancellara to take up the pace & then struck in the final 50 meters.
A tremendous finish by the Slovakian.
If he can get through the mountains, mind you he is young, maybe he place in the top of this year´s Tour de France.

luky,

don´t bother with the idiot. Clueless as usual.

Tour de France is the most grueling sporting event.
Approximately 200 km on the bike, mountainous terrain almost every stage is something that Ukra peasants can not endure.

I remember he won Tour de Pologne last year and did that in style. Isn't he one of the hottest names in the peloton as to flat stages and finishes now?
I bet he's not bad at time-trials too. But the Pyreness and the Alps are decisive. If he isn't a good, not decent, mountainer, and he's surrounded with a good team (plus he's their main focus in the mountains) maybe he finishes relatively high?
Damn, I wish I owned a bicycle like theirs or they let me have one for a time to ride.

kubko,

Peter Sagan is one of the most talented riders of recent memories.
Is he a good mountaineer ?
Only time will tell. One thing works in his favor is his youth & desire to win though.
Even today, we will see if he means business.

The kid has plenty of talent, but still needs to prove it.
Any placement of top 5 places would be a tremendous achievement.

Currently, the promising Slovak who became the youngest rider to capture a Tour stage win is pacing himself with the rest of the peleton.
Some of the reports even compare him to the great Armstrong.

Look at how Pisko is bragging about some dumb SLOvak who can ride a bike, Lance Armstrong? Don't make me laugh, LOL.
Such a pity that you're no good at sports that matter.:-)

Armstrong caliber ? Not just yet, says Slovak star.
Sagan landed another spot in history.
No other débutante has won the first Tour road stage.
Today´s stage favors a sprint finisher.
That´s when P. Sagan turns it on.
