Probably Poland, Slovakia and others thought they had got away with it and that Russia had no riposte!!

Bad mistake !!

Notice that it won't affect the USA's security one iota, and they must be laughing at their good luck of finding such gullible Esterm European countries, ready to be their bait.

Yeah, Poland shots itself badly ... in the foot !!

You notice that the Russian missiles will be directed to Poland and Czech Rep., not to the USA.

The brass at the Pentagon must be pissing themselves of the good trick they played on Poland!!

At the end of 2006 Russia said it has 3373 nuclear warheads i seriously doubt a few more missiles in this Kaliningrad area changes much really does it?
Kaliningrad apparently the most heavily militarized area in Europe is really Knigsberg anyway where the German population was deported in 1945/46 and Russians imported.

If the old USSR satellite countries want to leave Russia , why don't they let them ?
You know leaving them alone and placing modern Radars and Missles of a probable enemy there is another thing.

I know that: my grand-father was from Koenigsberg.
People from Koenigsberg did consider themselves Prussian before German. The state of Prussia existed within Germany after WWI, and until the German collapse of 1945. In fact, my grand-father never called himself a German, but a Prussian, and distinctive Prussian passports were issued to the inhabitants.
Prussia's last president was ... Herman Goering !

They left long time ago (1991), that's not the issue here.

The issue is the US planting missile bases under the nose of the Russians.

We know how the US themselves don't like foreign missiles too close, don't we - Cuba missile crisis.

Well all the Russia-First people can just relax because it appears unlikely the Obama administration is going to push for a missile system in E. Europe.

Frankly though it appears deep down the Russians want a missile system in E. Europe so that they can have an excuse to show off once again how "tough" they are especially when Russian generals themselves have admitted that the proposed E. European missile system would be totally ineffective against Russia's overwhelming missile superiority.

Well at least all of this Russian talk about missiles is making the Russia stock market/economy go up LOL
