Neither the Ukrainian government or the Crimean government are legitimate. Both were appointed at the barrel of a gun. Kiev, you reap what you sow.
Anyone who knows anything about Crimea knows it will not be part of Europe in the foreseeable future. Ukrainians, wait and see what the IMF is going to demand of you and think again.
The hypocrisy from America is disgusting, They started this,$5B spent on NGO's in Ukraine. What for exactly?. The current crisis reminds me of the Cuban crisis only the roles are reversed.
Putin has to protect his people and his borders. I wish that was not the case but it is the way it is and all the posturing and rhetoric is not going to change that.

Whew! That is pathetic. In a few days there will be a referendum under the point of a gun. But nobody will force the Russian speakers to vote to re-unite with Russia. I bet Putin gets over 90% of the vote.

I don't think the pro Russian vote will be as high as 90%. I am expecting around 70% but either way the West will declare the vote invalid and will continue to act as though it never happened, rather like the Russian response to the coup. The Tartars will not want to go with Russia. The situation is indeed full of pathos but feel free to refute my arguments if you feel they are pathetic.

You mean the Muslims would prefer to be with the French phagggs or the Israelis than to be with Russia? That is sick.

To Putin from Canada No need to shout. I think your Greek heritage against your traditional Turkish enemy is showing through. Crimea is a peaceful place and their minorities are Crimean too.
To Abdurratin. I said what I meant, no mention of France or Israel. The Tartars would prefer to be with an independent Ukraine, allied with Europe or not. Of course the independence will be in name only because the country will be governed by the IMF. The Ukrainians still have to feel the pain from drinking that poisoned chalice.
