The word "bozgor" is used on group of Romanians (Romanian nationality) in Transylvania.

Enormous number of Romanians (from Moldova and South-Romania) were moved unwillingly to Transylvania during the communist regime, trying to change the ethnic composition of the population.
Having no roots in this country, these people are called "bozgor" (without country).

The other meaning is used by the Romanians as a response. The native Hungarians are often called "bozgor".
Both meanings are extremely racist and used only by the lower class with lack of education.

Most of the blocks (cockneydom) in old Hungarian cities were filled by Romanian population now called "bozgor".

Examples: Cluj /Kolozsvar, Klaussenburg/, Cart. Marasti, Manastur,...

Targu Mures /Marosvasarhely/, Cart. Tudor V,...

Hunedoara /Vajdahunyad/, Oradea /Nagyvarad/, other 13 cities and several villages.

BOZGOR = ROMAN DE BOC /meaning ROMAN living at the BLOCKS/(group of ethnic Romanians moved to Transylvania living at the "Blocks").

"BOZGOR" is a slur used against the Romanians who were moved to Transylvania after 1919 and during the communist regime. Romanians moved to change the ethnic composition of Transylvania. Most of them live at the blocks and having no roots in this country they're called bozgors (Roman de cartier/Roman de bloc).

Whole cities were filled with ethnic Romanians after 1919 to change the composition of the population. Bozgor means "Romanian without country" or "Roman de bloc".

The other meaning is used by the Romanians as a response to this insult. The native Hungarians are often called "bozgor".

Both meanings are extremely racist and used only by the lower class with lack of education.
