Going to beg Congress and the White House not to change Puerto Rico's status. What a clown. What an insult to humanity.

Perhaps meeting with the White House Status Commission will show him the error of his ways ... doubtful though.

Fortuño's administration is to pass a law recognizing the plebiscite's results.
Then, he along with the island's anti colonial leadership will be going to Washington to demand that the Puerto Rican law be recognized.
Of course, Garcia (and the colonials) have a right to a tantrum (and set themselves on fire, if they wish), under our national constitution.

The thing I fear is that Garcia Padilla & the PPD leadership is going to strike a deal with Obama to keep the colony in place.

Im terrified that they may be able to sway Congress and the White House away from supporting statehood.

They already control Nydia Velasquez and Luis Guitarrez.

If that's so, then so be it!

Roselló is on his way to the OEA.

His son and independentistas are in the UN.

The US cannot afford to go around the world preaching democracy while ignoring an anti colonial clamor within its own national frontiers.

We (island Puerto Ricans) are not native Hawaiians nor native Alaskans.

Our numbers are in the millions and we belong to the international Hispanic and Iberian communities (which comprise billions of people).

Much in the same way they control many federal legislators (thru the millions of campaign and lobbying dollars thru island established corporations).

Don't mind me I am just being the pessimistic Gringo LOL

Jose Aponte tore into Guitierrez yesterday calling him a hypocrite who "lives statehood while denying it to others". Sounds about right.

I have noticed that Garcia Padilla is very enamored with Obama ... who does not reciprocate. Remember the whole "Obama endorsed me" speech he gave? That embarrassed the national Democrats big time.

The GOP lost the minority vote in many states.

Agapito just follow Obama's strategy, "people want to believe in fairy tales".

Our President is a great story teller (he should have won the Literature Nobel prize, instead).

Agapito is no Obama (I give him only 4 years).

Everybody takes a cheap shot at Gutierrez.

This guy (either is a masoco...or) loves being bullied.
