History in the making!

This will probably take at least 2 to 3 years but Puerto Rico has finally begun the journey towards becoming the 51st state of the United States of America.

Statehood has to be requested.

Colonialists do not want to understand how our federal govt. works.

But they just did:
"La Asamblea Legislativa se dispone aprobar una Resolución Concurrente para requerir al Congreso de Estados Unidos que admita a Puerto Rico como estado tras los resultados del plebiscito del pasado 6 de noviembre."

Unless of course you are referring to the PPD. They have their heads so far up their you know where they can't even explain the difference between a state and a territory. Several months ago in an interview Agapito asked the interviewer not to use the word territory in reference to Puerto Rico's status because it was "the use of such divisive terms is upsetting his party's membership". What a clown.

I'm referring to Agapito, the clown, and his colonialist motley crew.

60 yrs. those people had to develop their colony and now pretend that statehood for Puerto Rico be resolved in a "jiffy"....(those people are a joke and desperate).

Time and truth caught up with them!

Developing their colony means putting lipstick on a pig ... it's still a pig.

Indeed they are desperate, never before has Puerto Rico been this close to achieving a true non-colonial status. Remember, this is the party of the man who declared the issue of status "resolved" in August 1967. They truly, honestly see no need for a change in status.

I feel bad for how badly he will embarrass Puerto Rico at Wednesday's White House meeting for newly elected governors.

That is their great dilemma, Muñoz, the colonial party's founder, preached the need for the colony's evolution and intrinsic transitional trait.

On the other hand, others claim that the "status was resolved".

As some people who post here, the colonialists thrive on confusion and chaos.
