I find it abhorrent that Obama and the Democratic Party are so obsessed with "immigration reform" (read: amnesty) while 3.7 million Americans are living in a colonial limbo with second class citizenship. This goes against everything this nation stands for.

Those opposed to "immigration reform" should adopt a battle cry of No Puerto Rican statehood = No amnesty! Americans should come first.

A thought provoking way to frame it, L.

Very much so.

Pierluisi is counting on Congress to seriously attend to this after immigration reform.

Is he being naive?.

Check out my new thread, Garcia Padilla is going to be allowing illegal immigrants to have driver's licenses sort of like what Steamroller Spitzer proposed in 2007.
