I mean there are so many coincidences in both candidates' ways of playing the political game...
Both say one thing to one group and shamelessly deny (the very next day) whatever their previous position to another group without blushing or skipping a heart beat and nothing happens.

What's happening is that the Nuevo Día/Primera Hora's Ferrés are trying to cover up (by down playing it to mere "pecadillos")Alejand ro's personal tax messes (as they did with his porn habit).... But is heating up and getting as dirty as expected...no desilusion, they (local politicians) promised a dirty campaign and boy! are they keeping their word.

I see...LOL! ========== I have to start listening to the stations from PR on the net. I just have to find the time. WAPA is not providing a whole lot of info. Besides, the political show they have on weekend. At least here on WAPA America. ========== Fortuno has it in the bag. Anyhow. I don't know about the island wide races, though.

I don't know about the island wide races, though. I will give you my favorite radio political programs and time...you'll have a blast with those people. These start at 3 pm and run until 6...on weekdays and on different stations (in fact, only 2) but they are worth the daily audience... Remember, tv time is so expensive that they can cover so much and our press is so (well you know how it is) that is not worth even for wiping our a...(well, you get the whole picture)...LOL

Here's one quote that illustrates the level: our flamboyant Senate President (whenever he refers to three populares who aspire for the Senate) calls them "the three mariposas" (insinuating a homosexual orientation, regardless if one of them is happily married)....Rivera always says that "la Jossie" (PPD's ex Secretary General), "la Rosa" (referring to UPR's Prof. Angel Rosa) and Eduardo Bhattia (who is married) have such high, high, high, high....aspirations....LOL And when either of them have a political tantrumm, Rivera goes nuts making fun of how their "fluttering" left the Senate floor all covered with feathers.... Needless to say, our local LGBTT groups are up in arms, but Rivera has the Christian right behind him.

He is too divisive.

His the NPP's watch dog who does all the dirty work so that the top two positions can keep their decent, prime and proper image...So, that said, he plays his role to the utmost perfection and, you have to give the guy, the ability to come up with the most outrageous snaps which keeps the limelight on him all the time. The Pierluisi/Fortuño duo vs Rivera Schatz is the usual good cop/bad cop combo...

So, now Alejandro alleges that Fortuño has been improvising in order to keep his campaign promise of lowering the electric bill to all boricuas.
Which is it, Ale?
You joined the "izquierdosos" who use the "environmental agenda" when the NPP is in power but suddenly forget it when the populares are in the "decision making" power.
For three years you have been raising hell against each and every non fossil fuel implementation to come now and play the "improvisation card" on this administration.
The nerve of some people!

So, last night, Alejandro showed the "stock", his true colors, he's made of.
After years of barfing against a referendum on imposing "bail" to regular murderers, he changed his "tune" and now he's "all" for it.
Boy, this guy's lack of character really "takes the cake".
One day he says one thing (leading his party down a specific road); only to change his mind by next morning...
A leader or a misleader????

Caribbean Business:
García Padilla reverses on bail issue By CB Online Staff cbnews@caribbeanbusinesspr.com
Popular Democratic Party candidate Alejandro García is saying he supports a proposal to limit the right to bail despite voting against the Fortuño administration measure in the Senate.
The freshman senator joined to rest of the PDP delegation in voting against the proposal, which was approved by the majority New Progressive Party delegation last week.
He argued then that the administration didn’t present evidence that the bail limit would serve as a deterrent to criminals.

Alejando still looks like a "deer in the headlights". He has has got to get his act together if he wants to make a decent showing at the polls at this point (Although he won't win) ========== Time is running out.

No, i haven't heard that one, in particular. I enjoy hearing all those Puerto Rican sayings. A lot of life's wisdom in them. The "jibaros" knew what they were talking about. For sure.
