Who has been one of the most influential president in your opinion?

Mine is president Lincoln "the man of wisdown", he carried this nation while battling severe Depression.

How ironic you say this.

I'm going to see Lincoln later on in the evening. My first time to be able to get some free time in a while.

I have not seen that movie yet it is a must see according to a lot of people. I was going to wait for it to come out on blu ray but I might not be able to wait...lol I usually don't like watching movies that are long in theaters ugh especially because the seats are uncomfortable. Anyways enjoy it!!!

I am looking forward to seeing "Lincoln" but I don't think very many theaters around here still carry it, I havent been to a movie theater since I saw "Act of Valor" last year.

Best Presidents (in no particular order):
- Lincoln
- Reagan (1984 presidential election, enough said)
- Washington

Presidents that changed the nation the most (and not necessarily for the better):
- Obama
- FDR
- Lyndon Johnson

Not to mention that it is very expensive. When I saw "Act of Valor" it was $12 for an adult ticket + a good $10 for soda and popcorn. That's quite a bit of money for a 2 hour movie.

That being said I like the experience of going to a movie theater so I am willing to pony up the cash but alot of people are turned off by the prices and just watch on Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, or buy the $15 DVDs.

I hear you, it is expensive I like going to the movie theaters but the one that's local has the worse seats and I get ansy sitting for three hours, I can drive further but sometimes I'm not really up for it.

George Washington, the nation's first president, was a wealthy man. Mount Vernon, his Virginia plantation, was spread across 8,000 acres of prime farmland. His property holdings had been greatly increased by his marriage, at age 26, to a wealthy widow, Martha Dandridge Custis.

Abraham Lincoln, the nation's 16th president, was born in a log cabin and owned a house in Springfield, Ill., where he worked as an attorney before entering politics.

Ever ask a Southerner what they think of Lincoln? LOL

Many people in the South still call it "the War of Northern/Yankee Aggression". Im sure everyone has seen the silly "The South Shall Rise Again" and the other 'Southern Nationalism' bumper stickers.

In NY they are plain rude. They will talk all the way through. And nobody can say anything, or else a fight breaks out.

You are correct. It is annoying.

Why do you degrade full grown women by "calling" them "GIRLS"?

Stop the hate!
