Have you seen Pacino is Panic In Needle Park?
His second movie?
He was just a kid.
Outstanding performance which already showed how that amazing talent just stole each scene.
He played a heroin junkie always looking for his fix in Needle Park.
No never even heard of it but just looked it up and looks great, Going to see if available now in the many free movie sites I have in favorites.

"This movie is a stark portrayal of life among a group of heroin addicts who hang out in "Needle Park" in New York City"

Tell me about it, after a couple of New England never ending winters, it was Miami for my doctorate.
I hear new England is lovely.

They just prevented a massive shooting here is Florida Univ. Imagine you went to FIU if in Miami?

"Roommate’s 911 call credited with preventing mass murder at University of Central Florida"

Campus police said Monday that 30-year-old James Oliver Seevakumaran -- who shot himself in the head as officers arrived, before any other students were hurt -- was heavily armed with two guns, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, a backpack filled with explosives and a plan to attack other students as they fled the seven-story dorm where he lived.

Gay hater, Mel Gibson.
Gays warned everyone about this guy, until time proved us right.
Guy certainly has some serious anger management issues ... talk about wayyyyy out of control!

Panicky heroin addicts, which takes an addiction a notch up (or down).

Of course, FIU (is there another college?...LOL).

Our North Miami Campus, up on 151 st; overlooking Bal Harbour.

Lovely campus.

I lived up there, while my sis waited for her house in Doral (in my parents' apt. in Doral-the first apt. complex built in the 1990's); she was recently divorced with two babies and I needed my peace...LOL

What campus of the Univ. of Central Florida (UCF)?

I had this classmate who drove twice a week (for classes) from Naples' campus of UCF (he was a professor there).

He was caught for his anger issues, but he's a hater and the LGBTT community were his first victims.

He was persona non grata in our community decades before the public at large, finally took notice.

Now, Denzel...that's another heck of an actor.

Did you catch his work in Philadelphia (with Tom Hanks)?

Yes wow, I was balling my eyes out, then later I was enraged. Very good movie Hanks and Denzel performances were flawless. Denzel is my favorite male actor hands down he's amazing.

Omg, the part where Tom Hanks fell in court I couldn't take it, I hated that prosecuter with a Passion and his co-workers. Antonio Banderas was great as well as the unconditional love partner, that is sure hard to find lol.

Both, Antonio and Tom,'til this day, regret not kissing each other in their love scenes.

Back in the early 1990's it was a huge "no, no" in order to keep the audience's favor.

As it happened in Brokeback Mt's sex scenes, where director Ang Lee had to shoot the male sex scenes so close that you couldn't tell what was going on.

At least Jake and Heath kissed passionately and the public loved it.

What? They couldn't kiss and this was in the 90s smh. Brokeback mountain was such a good movie and very realistic which I loved, I'm glad the director didn't hold back on that movie .

Well Brokeback's sex scenes left a lot to desire (like I posted-Ang Lee shot these way too close and way too quick in comparison with the usual duration of a sex scene-between heteros in any movie and sex was central to this movie, for it was a love story and a tragic one, for that matter).

When Philadelphia was shot, President Clinton was threatened by his Armed Forces High Command if he dared to forward his "gays in the military" policy. So, all the guy could do was go around it and issue an Executive Order on the matter (the famous "Dont ask, dont tell).

Yeah, you're right it was shot very quickly compared to other sex scenes in other movies, but it's a step up, hopefully there's more equality in upcoming films about gays. Whoever doesn't like it, then don't watch is very simple.
