<p></p>FBI Special Agent in Charge Luis Fraticelli, according to the STAR's report, said: "This case seems like a novel, but sadly it is true." The local jury convicted an innocent man, 24-year-old Jonathan Roman Rivera of the murder last December. He is currently serving 105-year sentence for a crime he did not commit. <p></p>Imagine the horrible spiritual pain Roman must be experiencing not to mention the physical pain of being confined to a small cell as a murderer because justice was denied to him by untrustworthy, incompetent local officials. Roman will eventually be freed because of the trustworthy competence of U.S. Attorney Rosa Emilia Rodriguez and her hard working and astute associates. <p></p>Can you believe it? Secretary of Puerto Rican Justice Ramos doesn't want the innocent victim of the local injustice set free immediatedly. Ramos wants Roman to pay bond in order to be released from jail while Ramos reinvestigates this case. What honorable person would trust Ramos to continue to meddle in this case. The federal government should take over this case totally and not allow local incompetents to interfere with justice. <p></p>Will the final chapter of this blunder be Roman and his family suing Puerto Rico and the responsible local incompetent officials for million of dollars in damages? <p></p>"Durin g a criminal investigation all the leads must be followed to reach a logical conclusion, and this investigation by the FBI is an example that hopefully, at the end of this process, Justice prevails for Johanthan Roman Rivera," Fraticelli said. <p></p>Did the Puerto Rican police use professional operating procedures in investigatin the Anhang murder? Can they be trusted to re-investigate? Police Superintendent Pedro Toledo seems not to be the same highly professional he was under the two administrations of former Governor Pedro Rossello. Has Toledo gotten the AAV Virus for incompetence by working with his new boss Governor Acevedo? Did he lose all the law enforcement principles he learned when he worked for the FBI many years ago? Does he, as his boss, want the U.S. Justice Department to pull it it entire operation out of Puerto Rico? |

This story has no URL because it is a report written by Yankee In Puerto Rico based on the current and previous stories in The San Juan Star and important newspapers in the states and worldwide.
I wish a major newspaper such as The New York Times and The Washington Post will do an investigative reporting job on how too often justice in Puerto Rico is determined by political motives of untrustworthy and incompetent government officials. We should be thankful that the U.S. Justice Department is honorable, trustworth and highly competent in Puerto Rico. We need more oversight by Washington in Puerto Rico and not less as Governor Anibal Acevedo Vila would want. |

Listen you pig don't talk about Puerto Rico. Becuase we might be small in statue but we will have Puerto Ricans coming at you from every angle across the globe. Like caveman hunting down dinosaurs in the jungle. So take it easy man and respect the land. Our people served in your military for your imperialist wars. We don't want any more of it so take your flag and shove it. This message would have been better only if you decided to write a better article.
Can you here the little coqui as it can shut down the whole American Empire. Trust That. Get of our land and let us collect 200. |
