You are obviouly a passionate advocate for Brest cancer research. I salute you in your efforts if you are genuine. It is a plague that must be erdicated as all cancer should be.

I'm seeing this from the BREAST CANCER FORUM. Pleae don't use my posts as a sprinboard for insulting other people, but I figured out a LONG time ago that not everyone looks like me, speaks like me, eats the foods I grew up with, or has the same cultural references.
That makes me very happy. We deliberately bought a home in a multi-cultural area so our children would not grow up hearing about people of other cultures and races but not knowing them. It worked. They both have a network of friends from many cultures and backgrounds. I have done my part to lower the amount of bigotry in our fine country.
But I am seeing all this from a breast cancer forum. I would appreciate it if YOU would accept that and save any personal vendettas for other threads. Por favor ...
Please explain where I said I was Puerto Rican. I never said that. I am German, Irish, and English. I even listed all the countries my children have in their family tree, and Puerto Rico was never mentioned.
This topic was about BREAST CANCER. YOU chose to make it about "race" even as you explained how wrong that was. You are the one weighed down with assumptions.
Fortunately researchers don't carry your burden, and in spite of people with your attitudes, this article about race and breast cancer will, ultimately, save the lives of some Hispanic women, including Puerto Rican woman whatever their family trees.
Gail this has nothing to do with your post, is just that one of the members has a problem and denies our African ancestry. About you been puertorican?? I am responding to tmp..... So calm down. He always mentions our Spain and indian ancestors but refuse to mention our afrincan ancestor that make us puertoricans.
