Puerto Rico, as every other colony it has existed before, cannot be taking care of every lowlife, every alcoholic, every drunkard which decides to break our island laws, prostitute our men and women, and fill our streets with their various sickness and addictions.

Go back to your states of origin!

Us, boricuas, have enough problems of our own to be caring for other states misfits; lowlifes and/or unhealthy people.

"....Puerto Rico’s capital, San Juan, plays a key role as the Caribbean’s only true gay ambassador and thriving metropolis...."

"...While battles for GLBT rights have met great success in Europe, Mexico, and Argentina, in 2010 Puerto Rico remains the only Caribbean island embracing a same-sex lifestyle.

...This tropical maverick also differentiates itself from its counterparts by offering much more than hair braiding, barefoot escapades, beautiful beaches and Rastafarian rhapsody.

San Juan, in particular, offers first-class cultural opportunities, big city sophistication, and some of the best-preserved colonial architecture in the Americas...."

The previous message is the way Puerto Rico is promoted as a "gay mecca".

The whole advertisement is based on false premises.

Puerto Rico is everything but a place where same sex "lifestyle" (?????, I thought it gayness wasn't a lifestyle) is "embraced".

Every gay person that comes to the island is, in fact, breaking the law.

Why do US gays insist on coming to Puerto Rico?

To break island laws, NOT to change them....

"....While gay life centralizes in residential Condado, more ideal options for accommodation are found in nearby Isla Verde.

This is where Vegas meets the beach, and the ubiquitous vacation vibe keeps things uncomplicated. In this resort-heavy district, the Ritz- Carlton, San Juan Hotel, Spa and Casino ( www.ritzcarlton.com ) stands out among the competition, combining all the splendor of a Ritz with the simplicity of the tropics.

A tropical elegance motif unites the vast spaces of the oceanfront sanctuary.

In common areas, grand pineapple chandeliers shine upon fresh exotic floral arrangements while lush reds and greens contrast the teak furniture in guestrooms.

Bathroom queens will love the property’s “Water Closet” extravaganza.

The palatial bathtub, shower, toilet, and vanity area each merit unique space, together comprising a square footage larger than a NYC apartment...."

Notice how the advertisement insist on appealing to every New York City "bathroom queen" (?????)...

(In fact, those who engage in this sort of sordid sex...is actually gay life's lowest of the lowest...)...

While it baypasses most of the US gay society's most productive, decent, law abiding majority.

Nathan Freudenthal Leopold, Jr.(November 19, 1904 – August 29, 1971) and Richard Albert Loeb (June 11, 1905 – January 28, 1936), more commonly known as "Leopold and Loeb", were two wealthy University of Chicago students who murdered 14-year-old Robert "Bobby" Franks in 1924 and were sentenced to life imprisonment.[1]

That year he also wrote Life Plus 99 Years.[2][6][29] Leopold moved to Puerto Rico to avoid media attention and married a widowed florist.[2][6]

He was known as "Nate" to neighbors and co-workers at Castañer General Hospital in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, where he worked as a lab and x-ray assistant.[30]

"... In public hearings to extensively revise Puerto Rico's Penal Code, the sodomy law was one of the most-disputed points...."

Bob McCarroll and every stateside American who has been coming to our islands to engage in sodomy has been breaking Puerto Rico's Penal Code.

Thats right!

a hustlers' bar frequented by "local stateside residents"????

Who qualifies as a "local stateside resident" (as posted in this gay ad from a US magaznie????

Could it be Bob McCarroll?????

Local stateside residents aren't that many, in San Juan...

and

gay local stateside residents are even fewer.

And McCarroll hasn't been coming to P.Rico, since the 1950's, for its weather....LOL

The bar is a hustlers' bar, where poor Puerto Rican men "hang out".

Good for you, RiosYumac. I hope you are enjoying the trade winds.

It is no one's business why you are on the island.
