Mexicans are the most populous immigrant group in the usa, so all brown people are assumed to be mexicans. when a brown person does something wrong, time to blame mexicans!! it's quite sad really, I am Mexican and Puerto Rican. If some fob peruvian comes to america and commits a crime, then it's all mexicans faults!

however a valid reason for people not liking mexicans is that, again, they being the largest immigrant group, tend to occupy a lot of service/retail jobs that would otherwise be taken by college/high school students or just someone trying to get back on their feet. this is only illegal mexicans though.

The political and police standards in Latin America are ZERO and non Hispanics are afraid that the same sewer we fled from we will than turn around and recreate in USA.

Just look at what we Cubans did to Miami while having the audacity to scream about Castro .
We created a corrupt third world banana republic in Miami.

The interesting thing is that the "Cuba libre" banana republic bunch like Marco Rubio who came here TWO FULL years BEFORE Castro ,fled economic hardships want to deport other Hispanics who do the same.

Either way Anglo's are afraid of our political corruption and looking at Cuban run Miami, I do not blame them.

"Cuban-Americans have “perfected [corruption in government] in many ways to a fine art.” That is not correct, however, because if corruption is done that well, it is unnoticed and subtle. Corruption in Miami’s Cuban-American government has been crude, blatant and openly defiant"

"Miami Named Worst-Run City in America, Hialeah is Tenth"

Congratulations Miami-Dade County! We're home to not one, but two of the ten worst-run cities in the entire United States of America. The City of Miami came first on 24/7 Wall Street's list. That would be bad enough, but citizens of Miami proper may be even more devastated ;to find that their city is explicitly worse-run than Hialeah

I do not agree that anyone hates Mexicans . I lived in NY till bit over 3 1/2 yrs ago and plenty of Mexican Americans there , think second highest population to Ca and no one dislikes them.

Sure many Miami Cubans hate them but than again who don't these people hate?

I grew up with Anglo progressives , la mayoria italiano y judeos ,the ZERO political and police standards in Miami-dade and Hialeah me dan verguenza.

Easy...nacionalismo trasnochado.
Some Latin Americans (not all) are still in the 19th century (when it comes to regionalisms).
It has nothing to do with being from a specific place.
When I was growing up in Central America, the Hondurans hated the Salvadorians, both countries hated the Guatemalans, nobody like the Ticos (from Costa Rica); for the Ticos, the Nicaraguans were Indians and each and every Central American thoguth that Panamá was a US colony...LOL
So, there you go!
We, Latin Americans, are built that way (it has nothing to do with Mexicans, in particular).
But, we (all of us, including Puerto Ricans) unite against the gringos....LOL

"But, we (all of us, including Puerto Ricans) unite against the gringos....LOL"

I know you are just goofing around but in truth we need to unite against the rampant political, police corruption in our own ,which is our real enemy.

ALL our countries are plagued with this ,as are the cities in USA which "our" politicos sadly control.

Happy thanksgiving to all.

Chico,
You definitely don't like Miami Cubans.

"The Cuban community that doesn’t care about corruption when it casts its vote was critically portrayed by most leading city columnists and others, Cuban and otherwise. Robert Steinback, a Black Miami Herald columnist, said the Cuban community is gullible. Liz Balmaseda calls it “a knee-jerk majority” that would elect a hamster wearing a Cuba Libre T-shirt, and,“They only cared that he was Cuban.”

http://www.popularsovranty.org/mdc.shtml

"Jose says:

As a Doral resident ,I find the majority of candidates here to be very good in other words this is not Hialeah.
"

Conoces a "We Just Dont Care", "Marie in Miami" y "Liger"?

Esos son Miami cubanos, Cuba libre junta.

Wonderful, so you were very young when your family migrated here to the U.S. I know some Cubans and they are very nice people.I don't know any Miami Cubans, and I was not aware that they are racist.

You asked some questions on Doral but I can not find them?

You said that your sister suggested you buy an apt here.

Doral is the best rated of all the Miami cities and I think because no one group has all the input.

There are not many "Cuba libre" types here and I defy anyone to find politically worse.

Bermudez who is now leaving might possibly be the only honest, efficient Cuban Mayor in Miami's history.
I told him so at a town hall meeting and UNLIKE the con artist Rubio, I would vote for Bermudez if he ran for president.

Bermudez is from Los Angeles and that explains much, he realizes the world is round not just Miami and Cuba, like so many others here.
Look at Miami-dade rated 2012 ,worse run city in USA, Hialeah the capital of corruption and Sweetwater a combo of all two.

Boria won election (Venezuelan American), Ruiz city council (Mexican American).

NEITHER could get elected in Miami-dade by those mostly ethnic voters.
Doral is as close to USA as you will ever find here.

You go to any Doral supermarket and the food, milk, etc is far from expiration date and clean place.

Ask me what you want to know about Doral .

BTW the fishing here in the lakes and canals is the worse .

Many are very nice but I have found more not nice than nice and there is nothing I abhore more than the stench of hypocrisy and zero political, police standards (not Doral).

A wise man once asked "Why do Cubans in Miami hate socialism so much, yet they don't mind being some of the biggest benefactors of it ?"

Miami is always in top 5 worse of something and only one group runs Miami, from city hall, police, dept of health, etc ,etc ,etc.
