My Wife and I are looking to retire in Portugal , can any one tell us about immigration . We are both British living in Canada .
We would like to know anything that may be important to the move .
We also would like to know of any property for sale ,the property we would like is with a little land with a house to be renovated .

I am happy to see others are desiring to do the same thing as myself. I am going to Portugal this summer and staying a month. Looking at property and planning retiring there next year if all goes well. I really want to get out of this city of Houston, Texas and all the freeway traffic, rude people, and all the Mexicans that have taken over this city, now its just another big Mexico. IF anyone in Portugal has a small farm property, with little renotaving let me know. Im really a farm girl in heart. Hope to see you there.

If you still have a British passport, there's no problem about living in Portugal. You'll need a resident permit which is almost never refused to EU nationals (unlike what sometimes infamously happen to Portuguese living in other EU countries).

There's a newspaper here in English: Portugal News
They often have adds about property.

Thanks for taking the time to reply .
The next question is in regard to small pets coming with us into the country ,what do we need with regards to inoculations and paper work ECT.

Contact me directly, I'll be glad to help.

My stepmother is Canadian and living here for a long time and she has many Canadian friends.

My email is luis.domingues@prodigentia.com

I also have a property for sale, but but it's in small village in the North of Portugal, far from the big cities and the beach.

Daily Horoscope for November 24

Pisces

You'll be ready to strut your stuff again as the Moon moves into your lunar high cycle; people will be drawn to you as you are more radiant than usual. Your powers of intuition are on the increase; it may even be painful for many of you to be around other people. You can use your strength today to heal, so don't be afraid to be with those who need your healing powers. Even the psychic vampires can't drain you now.
