Some of the organizers of the trip to the great march "Wake up, Poland" were interrogated at police stations. The questions about the purpose, the number of people, hours of return were asked.

A few pepole have informed about the case. Lets remind: at the march arrived hundreds of thousands of people! Among the interrogated people was a member of one of the Radio Maryja Local Clubs who informed about the event on Maryja Radio during the News of the Day.

Before the coach left an ununiformed police officer had appeared. To the guestione what is the purpose of the interview the police officer answered that he was carrying out an order of his superior. Then he asked some questions. First he asked which demonstration we were going to as if he suggested that there are a few different demonstrations in Warsaw. I answered that we were going to the "Wake up, Poland" protest. The police officer kind of didn't understand the answer and repeated the question - said a member of one of the Radio Maryja Local Clubs.

Zbigniew Kuzmiuk, a Member of Parliament, informed that a person who was organizing a trip to the March from Lochow was invited to the police headquarters. Another organizer from Wyszkow received an invitation on the phone. However the man refused to turn up for the interrogation.

The MP announced that he would demand an explanation of the cases from the Minister of Internal Affairs.

what was these interrogations for? I understand they were a kind of warning? Was the aim to discourage people form the trip or to scare the participants? asks Zbigniew Kuzmiuk.
