Poland the Brave was the Epicenter of the Anti-Communist Political Earthquake whose thump crumbled The Berlin Wall. God inspired Pope John Paul II who gave Poles confidence in themselves and in the might of their human spirit. In turn, the Polish spirit was a beacon to other nations to cast away the yoke of Communist slavery. No one who embraces truth in history can ever take that mantle away from the Polish nation and it should be worn with pride by every Pole every day for, without Poland's struggle, there would be no New Europe!!!
Glory to God!!! God's Reward to John Paul II and Lech Walesa!!! A Medal of Valor to Poland!!!

Unfortunately, there are certain groups around Europe and parts of the world, that prefer Poland to remain silent, economically, militarily weak, and historically remain insignificant. It’s in their best interests. Even now, Internally in Poland certain ethnic groups and corporate bodies are becoming detrimental to our National interests. We are being attacked, and I’m not being paranoid here.
But all this is nothing new, in our recent history; we’ve seen it all before. The only hope I do have is we don’t make the same mistakes, or too many like the Lisbon treaty.
The pure fact that Poland is on the Map and independent doesn’t play well with our neighbors.

Do you use translation software? I realize that English is not your first language and I don't want to criticize it but people don't normally write like you do.

I'm curious, your profile points to Australia yet you make it sound like your in Poland. So where are you? Who is attacking and what ethnic, business groups are you referring to. I would assume the Russians dislike having Poland become stronger, but it there anyone else?

I am not normal in the sense what you presume.
I am critical and rational.

those who had killed communism are sipping the soup of corrupt barbarism.
None of you can educate me with this kind of diversion.
The subject of this thread is tis.
Poland a noble country had joined with consume oriented corporate capitalism,
But In Germany( I mean the ex Germany) i see many intellectuals work hard and get paid less.

Happy Christmas to all

of course, polish 'solidarnost' played a big role,so did the fall of berlin wall.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Aries

Christmas Eve finds you happy and eager to get the most out of the day. You're in a rather sentimental mood, so if you've got time you'll relish the chance to watch a favourite film, especially if it means you've got to get out the hankies. A friend's kindness or sensitivity will delight you - and make you wonder how you can reciprocate.
