Considering that these German expellees originally had no problem with what Hitler was doing, I think its an act of compassion that they were not all killed for supporting Hitler. Being expelled was just a slap on the wrist for them.

As this German lady said, many expellees were from Hungary, Czeck Republic and Yugoslavia. It would be interested to see what people from those areas think about this.

This hag wants apologies from Poland and probably land she claims stolen from germany which was firstly stolen from slavs. I'd send the old witch and her lover hitlerette merkel a couple of
cucumbers and tell them to get their minds off Polish land and enjoy themselves as no sane man would ever want either of them. I bet the two crones probably sleep in the same bed which is made from the skulls of Poles murdered by the blood-drinking germans in World War Two.

Did you read the article?

After that, you still consider that Poland has friendly relations with its neighbours?

How do you know they had no problem with Hitler's policy? You tar all the people with the same brush, eh? Very convenient...

So, it's not only with Russia that Poland looks for trouble...

The mentality don't change.

Yes Poland has good relations with the Germans who don't sympathize with the Nazis like Erika Steinbach.

Do Russians have good relations with those Germans still angry at Russia for raping and murdering German woman?

Only Poles keep mentioning these things.

Germans are intelligent people and know when to turn the page.

Also, hardly anyone of that era is still alive!!

Only poles live in the past, whilst the rest of the world has moved on ...

Do you realise that was more than 60 years ago?
Most of the people from that era are DEAD now!!

That will no change anything to the mutual friendship the 2 countries have together now. It's like mentioning Napoleon to a Russian, hoping he will start detesting the French!! It's history, my boy; it's in the past and people have moved on!

Well, not the poles obviously ...

If you compare attrocites committed by NAZIs against Soviet citizens to the same done by the Red Army in Germany, you would appreciate the huge difference. Most Germans wouldn't even press on the subject, because most know the NAZIs were the agressors and that terrible crimes have been committed in their name.

Also, I don't see why you single out "Russia", when in fact it was the Red Army, composed of soldiers from 15 different countries!!

Why don't you talk about Tatar rapists? or Kazakh rapists? or Uzbekh rapists? or Ukrainian rapists? but only mention Russian rapists?

Another example of your anti-Russia bias!!

I know that you Poles prefered the NAZIs, it clearly shows !!!

No its just the Polish-haters and Nazis like you that think like that.

If you really felt that way then why do you take me so seriously? Why do you feel the NEED to counteract everything I say?

Evidently you're afraid people think I make a lot of sense about what I say.

Yeah people think a dumb Slowvak like you is intelligent alright based on your caveman Slowvak "English skills" LOL. People look at all your barbaric Slowvak English rants, butchering of the English language and grafitti, and can see just what a backward Slowvak Nazi idiot you are.

I was wondering the same about you?

Cosy in the USA of A, well sheltered against nasty Russians, bolshy Brits and non-existent NAZIs, why do you bother to go on and on about the same subjects, over and over again?

..also, you better hurry up or you will be late for school, again!!

Abe, those german women paid the price for the gross crimes carried out by their sons, brothers, and husbands against Slavic women in Russia, Ukraine, and Poland. I can't feel bad for them, not in the least.

By that time there were only a few Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian national formations in Red Army, and chances are high that none of these units have marched through East Prussia, Poland, and Germany. As far as I know, they were only involved in operations in Russia, Belarus, and Baltics, but not in Germany, so they just couldn't commit rapes there.

Don't worry who committed these actions in Germany, look who did worse throughout eastern Europe ... and it wasn't the Russians.

You are full of crap Robby. Firstly one has to take with a large dollop of salt the claims of Steinbach in the interview. In this context notice that even the interviewer of Steinbach does not accept her arguments. Steinbach, contrary to her claims, represents the extreme hardcore conservatism of the German expellee groups. She has been shunned publicly by Merkel on many occasions although predictably, in the article, she emphatically denies this. Merkel has distanced herself from the claims and statements of Steinbach because they are the cause of continual, understandable friction between Poland and Germany. This is something that Merkel clearly does not want.
In the article Steinbach refers cynically to Polish "nationalists" who are out to provoke her at every opportunity. At the same time though one cannot avoid recognising that she herself is an extreme German nationalist.
Steinbach also claims that Poland is the only country which is blocking her seat as chairwoman of the new centre. That is incorrect as the Czechs have also repeatedly objected to her plans and position.
It is truly amazing that this woman, who is the daughter of a German soldier who participated in the occupation of Poland in WWII, considers that it is appropriate that a centre be established in Germany to commemorate the German "victims" of WWII who were expelled from previously German territory. It surely must be pointed out to her that they were expelled partly because they bore some responsibility for Germany starting WWII. This must be one of the most blatant examples of German insensitivity there is. And the woman has the audacity to claim that the source of the friction lies with the Poles. I wonder what your Russian brothers' view on the situation is? Perhaps the present inhabitants of "Koningsberg" would welcome her also with open arms and show equal "understanding" for her point of view - especially when she announces that she intends to lodge claims for the restitution of German property in the region. You are such a total dick head sometimes comrade. Go back to your hole in Moscow and shoot yourself you worthless old fool.

No. Just about every nation that suffered Russian occupation mentions these things. Unsurprisingly Russians like you aren't keen on talking about your shameful past.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Scorpio

Something that you've always taken for granted or believed implicitly could have a big question mark hanging over it during the next few weeks. The more entrenched your views are about this, the more difficult it will be to accept that perhaps it's time for a change of opinion or, at the very least, a revaluation of what you think. Mercury turns retro in your house of communications, so do your best to be open-minded now.
