According to CNN, Jorge Mario Bergolio, now known as Pope Francis, will lead the Roman Catholic Church beginning today. He is the first non-European pontiff. After searching for the a man with the right qualities, Roman Catholic Cardinals elected a man that is neither a man called a person of low morals by his countries justice system, a well known rapist nor adulterer. The Iglesia ni Culto is already planning their smear campaign to protect the memory of their 'holy angel'.

Nyg,

Yes, the Roman Catholic Church in Latin America has a rising dependency on the drug lords!!! But the problem is Roman Catholic drug cartels make war againstn each other and Catholic faithfuls are dying by the thousands in Mexico because of the strife!!!

And the U.S. Coast Guard are making good in the capture of couriers and the interdictions of drug shipments!!! This does not bode well for Roman Catholic's dependency of cash from the Catholic criminal gangster cliques!!!

Improve your low I.Q.!!!

Cretin Atheist,

These "VICARIVS FILII DEI" were all of low morals according to history and historians:

Pope Benedict IX (1032 to 1048)

Gaining power and wealth from an early age as a result of his family's ties to the church, Benedict IX essentially inherited the title of pope since he was the nephew of both Pope John XIX and Pope Benedict VIII. He was only 20 years old, but quickly developed a reputation as being "cruel and immoral," according to "The Rise of the Medieval World, 500 – 1300" (Greenwood Publishing Group, 2002).

In fact, in his third book of dialogues, Pope Victor III wrote of Benedict IX's "rapes, murders and other unspeakable acts. His life as a pope so vile, so foul, so execrable, that I shudder to think of it," according to "The Spirit."

Saint Peter Damian had similar things to say of Benedict IX, describing him as "feasting on immorality" and "a demon from hell in the disguise of a priest," who sponsored orgies and routinely partook in bestiality, according to "The Spirit." In his final act of corruption as pope, Benedict IX decided that he wanted to pursue marriage, so he sold his holy title to his godfather for 1,500 pounds (680 kilograms) of gold.

Pope Julius II (1503 to 1513)

Despite the clergy's sacred oath of celibacy , Julius reportedly had several mistresses and at least one illegitimate daughter (some sources indicate that he had two other daughters who died during childhood). In 1511, a council brought charges of lewd sexual acts against him, alleging that he was "a sodomite covered with shameful ulcers," according to Dr. Joe J. Payyapilly in "The Spirit of Holiness" (Xlibris Corporation, 2010).

Although he was a fan of the arts and collected ancient sculptures, he was apparently not a believer in the adage – good art takes time. Julius forced Michelangelo to complete the Sistine Chapel before he was ready to do so, according to "The Western Heritage" (Prentice Hall, 2000).

Michelangelo never got around to finishing Julius' tomb after the pope had died, according to "Christianity: the First Two Thousand Years" (Continuum International Publishing Group, 1997).

Pope Alexander VI (1492 to 1503)

Even though he was supposedly a celibate clergyman, Alexander VI romanced several mistresses, including Giulia Farnese (known as Julia the Beautiful), and fathered numerous illegitimate children with longtime mistress Vannozza dei Cattani (who was married at the time), according to "The Last Judgment," (Macmillan, 2009).

His hedonistic ways were so shameless that even as crime and violence overtook the streets of Rome, the pope busied himself with staging comedic plays, lavish banquets, masquerades and dance parties – paid for with the church's funds, according to "The Borgia Pope" (Kessinger Publishing, 2006). Possibly as backlash for his playboy lifestyle, rumors of Alexander VI arranging orgies began to surface, according to the 2006 book.

Vkad,

He has to be humble for his being another God on earth is nothing but a spurious claim:

"St. Clement, then, had reason to say that the priest is, as it were, a God on earth."

Nyg,

This one: The Corpse Synod

What One Infallible Pope, Under The Spell Of A Very Vengeful And Very Fallible Woman, Did To Another Infallible But Dead Pope

"THE BIG EYE-OPENER for her had been in March 897. Agiltruda, the queen mother of Spoleto, took her by the hand to the Lateran Palace. They stood outside in the bright sunshine with a crowd of Romans. Inside, the reigning pope, Stephen VI (nicknamed 'the Trembler' by his contemporaries because of his nervous disease), surrounded by his cardinals and bishops, conducted a trial. Agiltruda, a Lombard, with her luxuriant blond hair, blue eyes, impressive stature, and imperious voice, wanted everyone, inclding the child Marozia, to witness the degradation of her most foul enemy, a dead pope, A Corsican, Formosus by name. Pope Formosus had deprived Agiltruda's son of his due honor by crowning instead a hated German, Arnulf, as Holy Roman emperor in February 896.

"Agiltruda had led an army, seized Rome, and installed herself in Hadrian's Mausoleum. But Emperor Arnulf had sent packing home to Spoleto, breathing vengeance and hate. Pope Formosus had then set out at the head of his own army to capture Agiltruda's beloved Spoleto. But he died of a stroke (or perhaps Agiltruda's poison) on April 4, 896, and was buried in Rome as befitted a pope. The next pope, Boniface VI, was put on the throne by armed Roman citizens. Within fifteen days Agiltruda made sure Boniface was stone dead (after all, before becoming pope, he had been twice defrocked for unseemly behavior). She then put her own creature on the throne as Pope Stephen VII. Everyone, including Agiltruda, knew that Stephen was insane and subject to violent paroxysms of black rage. He was therefore perfect for Agiltruda's scheme.

"The venom and malice of that scheme was monumental. Formosus had been dead and buried for over eleven months. On Agiltruda's suggestion, Pope Stephen had the rotting corpse dug up, brought to the Lateran Palace, clothed in pontifical vestments, placed sitting on a papal throne, and then tried for capital crimes by Stephen and his cardinal and bishops. This was the famous Corpse Synod. Agiltruda had looked forward to it for a long time. This was why she came to the Lateran Palace with Marozia. This was why she was smiling and gay.

"Inside the synod, all went according to plan. Pope Stephen himself and a papal accuser cross-examined the rotting corpse (a trembling eighteen year-old deacon stood beside the corpse and answered for the voiceless Formosus). The conviction came when Pope Stephen, livid with fury, shouted:'Why did you usurp the See of the Apostles?' And the young deacon answered for the dead Formosus:'Because I was evil.' At that crucial confession, Cardinals Sergius, Benedict, Paschalis, Leo John, and the others rushed on the corpse, ripped the pontifical vestments from it, tore off the first three fingers of the right hand (Formosus, like every pope, gave the papal blessing with those three fingers), and then dragged the corpse from the hall.

"Marozia was there as the cardinals and clergy dragged the corpse out of the palace and along the streets. The shouts of the crowd, the smell of the putrefying flesh, the stones and the mud she and the others threw at the corpse did not let up at all. And then there was the dull splash as they threw the remains of Formosus into the River Tiber. Pope Stephen then sent the three torn fingers to Agiltruda, by the hand of Cardinal Sergius. This was Agiltruda's request. As the cardinal gave her these grisly trophies, he noticed the child by her side. Their eyes met. It was the first meeting between the two, but far from the last. She was then six, he thirty-six."

Nyg,

This one too:

Are They "Vicars of Christ?"

If the Popes are "Vicars of Christ," then they must have been appointed either by God or by Christ Himself. They must also behave the way Christ did, follow His examples, and lead a pristine and holy life. But who among the popes has ever been appointed by Christ? What does history tell us about the papacy? Below are some quotations from noted authors:

"In any case, from the year 314 onward until the invention of the conclave system as the official method of election, there were 147 popes. The vast majority of these were elected at the beck and call of Roman emperor, Gothic king, Frankish king, Roman family or faction, German tribesman, German emperor, or local Italian petty tyrant. The Roman assembly of Christians continued to hold elections, but in each case their chosen candidate had to be ratified or confirmed by some temporal prince or ruler."

Reference:(Malachi, Martin, The Decline and Fall of the Roman Church. New York: Bantam Books, Inc., 1981, p. 44)

"Each of the succeeeding popes from Leo III to Boniface VI (896) were elected in a tortuous fashion. The Roman factions battled among themselves and with the ordinary people. A candidate emerged from these always rough, frequently bloody, often fatal encounters between the various contending parties who used money as well as arms and sexual subversion to enforce their wishes. This candidate was then confirmed and ratified by Charlemagne's successors. Before he was crowned, the candidate swore loyalty to the Frankish ruler. At times, that ruler imposed his own pope-candidate on all the factions."

Reference:(Ibid., p. 81.)

"Theodora, the wife of Theophylact, a chief official of the papal court, and her daughter Marozia made and unmade popes practically at will throughout much of the tenth century, a period aptly known as the 'nadir of the papacy'. In 906, Marozia, at the age of fifteen, became the mistress of Pope Sergius III. They had one child, John, who subsequently became Pope John XI. In 914, Theodora's lover, Bishop John of Ravenna, became Pope John X. Marozia, after having enjoyed a succession of lovers, married Guido, Duke of Tuscany. The newlyweds conspired to unseat the Pope, who was her mother's lover. Joining with John's enemies, Marozia and Guido cast Pope John X in prison, and in 928, had him suffocated. In 931, Marozia raised to the Holy See Pope John XI, her illegitimate son by Pope Segius III....In 955, Marozia's grandson became Pope John XII and distinguished his pontificate with debauched orgies in the Lateran Palace."

Reference:(Paul Williams, Everything You Always Wanted to Know About the Catholic Church But Were Afraid to Ask For Fear of Excommunication. New York: Doubleday, 1989, p.17-18)

"On October 30, 1501, Burchard described a dinner in the apartment of Caesar in the Vatican at which fifty naked Roman harlots chased chestnuts that were scattered over the floor, while Pope Alexander (VI) and Lucrezia looked on with amusement."

This spurious "VICARIVS FILII DEI" would remind us of Noli Me Tangere wherein the father of Crisostomo Ibarra, Don Francisco, was exhumed from a Roman Catholic cemetery and was transfered to a Chinese cemetery because of his quarrel with priests!!! The corpse ended up at the bottom of Laguna de Bay:

Pope Stephen VI (896 to 897)

Arguably the most unbalanced of this lists' unscrupulous popes, Stephen VI set out to get revenge on his predecessor, Pope Formosus, who he felt had wronged him – in spite of the fact that his nemesis was now dead.
Stephen arranged a court date and ordered Formosus' nine-month-old corpse to be exhumed, dressed in sacred papal robes and propped up on a throne to be tried for his crimes. With a deacon answering on behalf of the deceased, Stephen raged and raved accusations of Formosus having had unfairly receiving the pope title at Formosus' skeleton.
The cadaver lost the trial, and Stephen declared Formosus' rule as pope void. He then chopped off the three fingers used to give blessings and ordered the body to be stripped of its robes and dumped into a cemetery for foreigners. Soon after, an earthquake struck Rome, destroying the papal basilica. The corpse was dug up once again and flung into the Tiber Rover, but a few compassionate people fished it out and gave Formosus a proper burial, according to "A History of the Church in the Middle Ages" (Psychology Press, 2002).

However, the macabre trial came back to haunt Stephen, as the earthquake's damage was taken as a sign from God. Rioting mobs of Formosus' supporters arrested Stephen and locked him in a dungeon, where he was later found strangled to death, according to "A History of the Church."

HABEMUS PADRE: WE HAVE A PRIEST IN SEX SCANDAL:

Priest in sex scandal sacked
Full story: globalnation.inquirer.net

MANILA, Philippines—A Catholic priest from Dipolog City has been sanctioned and restricted to the convent for alleged sexual misconduct while serving in a United States parish.

Bishop Jose Manguiran of the Diocese of Dipolog has revoked the priestly offices and functions of Fr. Reynaldo M. Pardillada, 37, who is accused of having an illicit affair with a married Filipina while serving at the Epiphany Church in Cliffside Park, New Jersey.

Pardillada was last week expelled by the Archbishop of Newark after the New Jersey-based 32-year-old Filipino woman, who also happened to be from Dipolog, reported the affair to church authorities.

She said she finally summoned the courage to complain against Pardillada when he got her pregnant twice and forced her to abort the babies. She said she also suffered one miscarriage.

It is always great fun to see our Iglesia ni Culto stooge cling to a fake lifeline. He has no choice but to pretend that Roman Catholic Popes are called 'Vicarius Filii Dei'. They aren't.

What is even funnier are two actual labels for his cult's founder.

1) The Philippine Court of Appeals adjudged him as 'a man of low morals'.

2) After Teoilo Ora attempted to wrest control of the INC, Felix conveniently 'remembered' that God visited him and asked him to be his last messenger. Shortly after, Felix demanded that cult followers refer to him as "God's Holy and Last Angel"..

I could have sworn that the Bible has numerous verses about exalting oneself and lying. Felix is rotting in his grave just as Don Quixote of Guam will. Both will have their rectums filled with cult jism just before the casket is closed. Celebrate eternity the way they lived.

Cretin Atheist,

"VICARIVS FILII DEI" = Vicar of the Son of God!!! And Christ is the Son of God according to the Almighty Father:

The Bible introduces the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God and not "God the Son." God Himself declared in Matthew 3:17 the following:

"And suddenly 'a voice came from heaven, saying,'This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased'." (New King James Version)

The apostles also acknowledge Christ as the Son of God:

"Simon Peter answered and said,'You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God'." (Mt. 16:16, Ibid.)

Apostle Peter said it clear that Christ is the Son of the living God, not the living God Himself.

Improve your low I.Q. for of all atheists, you have the lowest!!!
