Joseph Smith proclaimed he was God's last messenger. He spoke of how he needed to translate God's true message. Felix Manalo, proclaimed himself to be the "Angel of the East" as mentioned in Revelations and God's last messenger. He declared that he was empowered to restore the true church to the earth, despite the fact that "Church of Christ" is never actually used in the Bible, New or Old Testament. Both Smith and Manalo called their cults, The Church of Christ. Uh oh...
Israelnotpinas,

And who is telling the truth??? Joseph Smith of the Mormons who is from the West or Brother Fleix Y. Manalo who is from the from the East??? It is Brother Felix Y. Manalo because the prophecy states that the place where he would come from is from a far country in the East:

"Calling a bird of prey from the east, the man eho executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it." (Is. 46:11, Ibid.)

The prophecy speaks of the calling of a "bird of prey" from the east. The "bird of prey" refers to a man who would execute God's counsel from a far country. He could not be mistaken for other messengers because the prophecy specifies which part of the east he would originate--not from the Near East or Middle East where the early messengers of God came from, but from the Far East. The country in which this prophecy was fulfilled is the Philippines, "the country which stands almost at the geographical center of the Far East"!!! Historian, Mr. Horacio de la Costa, has thhis to say of the Philippines:

"It cannot be without significance that the country which stands almost at the geographical center of the Far East, the Philippines, should also be that which Christianity has taken the deepest root."

Reference:[ Dela Costa, Horacio. Asia and the Philippines, p.169]

This is where Brother Felix Y. Manalo preached about the Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo), which was registered with the Philippine government concurrent with the outbreak of World War I on July 27, 1914:

"The first great campaign on the southeastern battle grounds of the Great War began on July 27, 1914, when the Austrian troops undertook their first invasion of Serbia. They crossed the Serbian border at Mitrovitza, about fifty miles northwest of Belgrade, driving the Serbians before them. The first real hostilities of the war opened with the bombardment of Belgrade by the Austrians on July 29, 1914 - six days before the beginning of the campaigns on the western battle fields."

Reference: Francis J. Reynolds, et. al., The Story of the Great War: History of the European War From Official Sources, vol. 2, p.291).

Did Joseph Smith of the Mormons come from far country in the East??? A BIG NO!!! Where is he from??? U.S.A.

Did the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints come out when the First World War broke out??? A BIG NO!!!

Therefore, Brother Felix Y. Manalo is the fulfillment of the man who was likened to a "bird of prey" and called by God to bring His righteousness (gospel) to the stubbornhearted!!!

Remarkable to Mormons is the similarities in architecture, church organization, fervor, and member participation. The Assembly Hall in Salt Lake City could be the source form of many INC buildings both inside and out. In northern Manila there a six spired building that is a modern rendition of the Salt Lake temple. It is also hauntingly similar to the Washington Temple.
Low I.Q.,

There is no similarity with Mormon archetecture to that of the Iglesia ni Cristo!!! And Iglesia ni Cristo archetecture is not confined to one design or concept but on hundreds!!!

Our Tabernacle is a separate building from the Iglesia ni Cristo Temple!!! We have our own Tabernacle Choir and the conductor won in several world music competitions in America and Europe!!!

Our university is indeed called New Era!!! Why??? Because it is taken from the name of our Second Executive Minister, Brother Eraño G. Manalo, whose birthdate is January 2!!!

The publication of the Mormons is indeed called "New Era" but ours is "Pasugo" or "God's Message"!!!

Therefore there is no linkage to the Mormons!!!

Upon his own study of the Bible he found several errors and then he was having some problems with the whole angel in the east thing. He also had questions like why does the Manalo family keep it a secret about why Felix changed his last name? First they say that his Father was a great man so why not keep that name? To thia day the church says it's a mystery why he did it but it must be because he had respect for his Mom? You van have love and respect for your Mom but that doesn't mean you change your last name to her maiden name! Also he wondered how could Felix properly come up with the church doctrines and guidelines when he didn't even understand the bible yet. Shouldn't it have been the other way around? And if God truly chose him to be this angel in the east and blessed him with the knowledge of the true church doctrine why not also bless him with Biblical knowledge?
All this bothered him and when he would ask these questions he would get pie in the sky just believe answers or anger. He kept these to himself but started missing services.
Then he was attacked viciously by members of the church he had known since childhood. What they did to him is disturbing. Seriously. Wifey left the living room we were all in as he went into the details it bothered her that much. It was hard to hear. Seeing the scars and deformities he has now makes me cringe. He is lucky to be alive.
Later I went to the kitchen to console a shaken Wifey. With tears in her eyes she said... I think I understand now why you amd him hate religion so much.
I have encouraged him to write a book about his story he said he would be killed if he did. We were careful to only go to Chapels far from his home one so he wouldn't be recognized.
People like him are real heros. He lost everything, his family and all his friends turned their back on him when he was expelled. He was thrown out of the family home and disowned. His sin for being expelled? Privately questioning Church doctrine.
Now he is in college getting his masters degree and an atheist. I wish him the best and hope the scars inside can heal because the scars and mutilations done to his body can never be fully healed...
Why Do SATAN claimed that he is God not Jesus? he is trembling with fear because he know HE is God...
Why do satan counterfeit the Trinity?
Satanic Progressions come in threes. The number of Spirit or Nature is three; the number of man is six; the number of Satan is nine; and the number of members in a coven unit are twelve which adds up to three and brings us back to nature or Spirit. Yup, in this particular Hyper dimensional Universe, manifestations of organic life mostly tend to appear in units of three or multiples thereof, no matter what your belief system. Count them, you can likely do it on the fingers of one hand.
Jesus Divinity
Trinity
Why do INC doesn't believe in Divinity of Christ and Trinity while Satanic Religion Counterfeit it... INC is more than a CULT INC is above the lower level of SATANic Religion...

Low I.Q. Witness,

Here's the Philippines in the Bible, the "far country in the east":

"Calling a bird of prey from the east, the man eho executes My counsel, from a far country. Indeed I have spoken it; I will also bring it to pass. I have purposed it; I will also do it." (Is. 46:11, NKJV)

"From the far east will I bring your offspring, and from the far west I will gather you." (Isaiah 43:5, Moffatt Translation)

How is the "far country in the east" further described in the Bible??? Islands of the sea:

"Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea. From the ends of the earth we hear singing." (Is. 24:15-16, New International Version)

So, the fulfillment of the prophecy of the preacher from the Far East and the children of God would be in a nation composed of islands that recognize the God of the Bible.

The Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo) upholds that the fulfillment of this prophesied messenger is Brother Felix Y. Manalo, the man who began preaching the Church of Christ in the Philippines. Is the Philippines--where the Church of Christ was preached by Brother Felix Y. Manalo--a country in the Far East composed of islands?

According to World History, "The Philippines were Spain's share of the first colonizing movement in the Far East; the name means the 'islands of Philip.'" (vol. 2, p. 445)

Manalo is also portrayed as the fulfillment of several passages in Isaiah and other books of the Bible.[25][26] Manalo's titles are "ravenous bird from the east" (Isa. 46:11),
Low I.Q. Witness,

Indeed, Brother Felix Y. Manalo is the man likened to a ravenous bird or bird of prey!!! The reason the prophesied preacher from the Far East was figuratively compared to a bird of prey was because of his task to free God's children who are being held captive:

"Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west; "I will say to the north,'Give them up!' And to the south,'Do not keep them back!' Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth." (Is. 43:5-6, NKJV)

What are being referred to by the prophecy as the "north" and the "south" which restrained the people to whom the messenger was sent? Historian Henry W. Elson, in his book Modern Times and The Living Past, wrote:

"It will be noted that it was the Teutonic north, which had resisted the Roman Empire, that broke away from the Catholic Church, while southern Europe retained the old faith. But in these days of religious toleration there are many Catholics in Protestant countries, and many Protestants in Catholic countries. In Germany, England, and the United States there is a mixture, but the Protestants greatly predominate. " (p. 346)

The "north" and "south" refer to Protestantism and Catholicism respectively as another scholar named Owen Chadwick, in his book The Reformation, affirmed:

" ... In the north the Protestants were in control---Lutheran churches in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, the northern and central states of Germany; Calvinists or Reformed churches in Scotland, the Netherlands, Hesse, the Palatinate, and a few of the western German states. In the south the Catholics were in control---Spain, Italy, Austria, Bavaria, and elsewhere in southern Germany." (p. 366)

Where exactly in the vast Far East would the messenger begin preaching God's words so that people from Catholicism and Protestantism would be set free? There may be many countries like Japan, Burma, Indonesia, and Korea which also lie in the area known as the Far East, but the Bible gives a further prophecy which dramatically narrows the range of places in which the prophecy would occur:

"Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea. From the ends of the earth we hear singing." (Is. 24:15-16, New International Version)

So, the fulfillment of the prophecy of the preacher from the Far East and the children of God would be in a nation composed of islands that recognize the God of the Bible.

Manalo is also portrayed as the fulfillment of several passages in Isaiah and other books of the Bible.[25][26] Manalo's titles are "ravenous bird from the east" (Isa. 46:11), "worm Jacob" (Ps. 22:6-7),
Low I.Q. Witness,

Indeed, Brother Felix Y. Manalo, is also called in the prophecy as the "worm Jacob":

"Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel." (Isaiah 41:14, King James Version)

To be compared to a worm means to be without strength and to be despised (Ps. 22:6). In fullfillment, the last messenger of God was by himself without strength and was despised. But he was not helpless because God promised to strengthen and help him:

"Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10, KJV)

God had chosen His servant who was not learned and rich in order to confound the wise and the mighty (I Cor. 1:26-29). God's promise to help and strengthen His last messenger was proven by the result of his work. The present stature of the Church that he preached clearly proves this.

However, many contend that the "worm Jacob" in Isaiah 41:14 refers to Jacob, the grandson of Abraham. Could it be that Jacob, the son of Isaac, is the one referred to in the prphecy? Was he still alive when the prophecy was proclaimed by Isaiah?

We must remember that a prophecy pertains to an event in the future. Jacob, the seed of Abraham, lived and died during the era of the patriarchs whereas Isaiah the prophet lived and died during the time of Israel or the prophetic age. Jacob died sometime in 1689 B.C. On the other hand, Prophet Isaiah lived during the time of King Uzziah, called Azariah during the 9th century (808 B.C.). Jacob had already been dead for about 881 years when Isaiah made known his prophecy concerning the "worm Jacob." Thus, Jacob, Abraham's grandson, could not be the "worm Jacob" prophesied by Isaiah.

When is the appointed time of this "worm Jacob"? As previously cited in the Book of Isaiah, God's last messenger is from "the ends of the earth." The period "ends of the earth" is different from the time "end of the earth." The latter is synonymous with the end of the world or the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus (Mt. 24:3). The apostles asked Jesus the signs of the end of the world. His reply was that they would hear of wars and rumors of wars, which would be followed by a war involving nation against nation, kingdom against kingdom; there would be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes. All these are signs that the end is at the very doors (Mt. 24:3-4, 6-8, 33)). In other words, these events would happen during the period "ends of the earth" which precedes the time "end of the earth."

Prior to, during, and after the First World War, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes occured in various places. The Church of Christ emerged in the Far East, specially in the Philippines, concurrent with the commencement of the First World War on July 27, 1914. This even fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah regarding the appointed time of God's messenger whom God called the "worm Jacob."

Ozzy,

You just make me laugh!!! There is no similarity whatsoever of the Iglesia ni Cristo with the Mormons!!! For the Mormons, God was once a man like us. This is expressly stated in Joseph Smith's teachings, thus:

"Joseph Smith said:'God himself as we are now , and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!... I am going to tell you how God came to be God. We have imagined and supposed that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea, and take away the veil, so that you may see ... It is the first principle of the gospel to know for a certainty the character of God, and to know that we may converse with him as one man converses with another, and that he was once a man like us; yea, that God himself, the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did; and I will show it from the Bible ..."

Reference:(Mormon Doctrine, p. 321)

What is the Mormon doctrine about God similar to??? Roman Catholics and Protestants:

"Natures and Person of Christ.- Jesus Christ, according to the Catechism familiar to English Catholics, is 'God the Son made man for us'..."

"Mga Kalikasan at Persona Ni Cristo.- Si Jesucristo, ayon sa Katesismong pamilyar sa mga Katolikong Ingles, ay "Diyos Anak" na ginawang tao alang-alang sa atin'..."

dsb,
You have to remember a couple things about Don Quixote of Guam. He refuses to acknowledge evolutionary science. Our Guam based sperm guzzler is truly afraid of his African heritage. That is why he is so hateful towards blacks. He knows that his African American father abandoned his Filipina whore mother after a shore leave long ago. Now, every mention of Africa or blacks makes him shake in fear and self loathing.

The second thought involves his break with reality, in general. There is no such place as New Alabang Village. The BBC has nothing to do with the Philippines. He is fighting imaginary dragons once again.
