I was told that some Filipino married woemn are engaged in switching husbands, leaving their legal husbands and move in with foreigners.

I was also told that those married women claimed that the reason they have acted that way was because their Filipino husbands were unable to provide for their families. Is it true that some Filipino married women are switching husbands from Filipino husbands to foreigners?

Posting from Cebu, right in the middle of the Philippines and you contended yourself to be about the Filipina married women? Many women went abroad to look for livelihood to help their families getting decent situations in life; view that example as their token of sacrifice. Many women go out of their households to work in the factories for the same reason. Many of them doing menial jobs in the neigbourhood for exactly the same reason. What made you doubt about them? What made you think that Filipina women are engaged in switching husbands and moved in with the foreigners? Poverty is all over the country, but leaving the husband because he cannot provide for his family is a narrow and shortsighted reasons. When a woman decides to leave her husband, she must be having reasons for that!

Soory for the error committed: The first sentence should be read this way: Posting from Cebu, right in the middle of the Philippines and you contented yourself to be *told* about the Filipina married women?

By reading your comment, you appeared to be taken off-guard and offended. Did you read my post carefully? I was not the person who came up with the idea that some Filipino women left their husbands for others.

I said that I was told the story by other individuals. Furthermore, I have also asked if that story is true or not. Is there anything wrong with asking questions in search of the truth?
I hope not.

I do not think that anyone has the right to pass judment upon anyone else. I argue that asking a question in search of the truth is not passing judgment by any means. Thanks for your reply.

They most certainly do and one must be careful as the women may say she is single or separated when in fact she lives with her husband. Many cruise the internet for foreigners while the husbands are at work.

I don't know for certain, but some are probably doing it for that reason...Married men and women do all kinds of crazy stuff...

I think the questions posed, may cause confusion to some. There is prejudice and bias towards Pinay that may be working and living out of country, and they may assume the questions posted as reference to their character...It gets tiring for some to be stigmatized by generalization of behavior of some Pinay...

I'm just curious of your picture? Are you driving the Hydroplane?
Is it a formula 1? Looks like an inboard? Anyway, I like boat racing at a local level, and they had a Nationals up here on the Connecticut River this year... I have been a fan since I was a youngster...

Thanks for taking the time to register properly.

Wrong! wrong! wrong! wrong! My niece went to Bakery to buy some bread. While she was walking on her way to buy bread(just 5 minutes walking), the horny tourist Americans and an Australians stopped at my niece and said hi helloo to her. She was on the phone talking with me when I heard saying hi to her and said What's your name and I said to my niece , whom are you talking with ? But my niece did not answered and I could heard the background. The American and the Australian kept saying oh you are so beautiful, you are so cute, what's your name, I scolded my niece why she was talking with them , instead I asked my niece to give the cellphone to these bastard, horny tourist and told them, Back off !! she's already married! she has 4 kids and her husband is in Military! And they said! Oh she's already married blah blah blah! I told them to get lost or I'll call the police . They even told her to leave her husband to be with him(the American) I scolded those horny tourist Americans. My niece took a picture of them without their knowledge.( They already victimized 2 of my niece). I hate them! No respect!

How prejudice to think and wonder if Filipina leave their husband for foreigner.

Studies indicate that infidelity is widespread everywhere, whatever their culture or race; 44% of men and 25% of women have extramarital affairs. Affairs occur in both good and bad relationships and can be devastating to the faithful partner.

It has nothing to do with being a Filipina or being an American. I've read enough post here from foreigner saying they are tired of American women, they are materialistic and unfaithful.

It all depends with the character of a person.
A person who tends to lie normally cheat.

This really happen, my friend had an expat Boyfriend in his mid50's. He admitted to her, he has a live-in GF but almost his age (woman in her late 40's, my friend is single,30yrs old) and told her bunch of excuses like they no longer have sex, his gf has another man,GF spent his money too much and his a walking ATM for them, he said he will leave his gf and run away with her. My friend fell hook and all to this guy, I told her to stopped his lying and he'll not leave his gf but she said I hate regrets and I love him.

I shut up and let her be, in the end I was right the old guy left my friend. My friend was devastated but accepted her fate. She threw herself to work, the pain she was going through is diverted to long hours of work. Our company noticed her performance, she got promoted and was sent to USA and UK for training and start a new department. When she least expect, she met someone, a guy near her age and very serious with her. They are planning to get engaged next year.

My friend said I'm grateful for the pain I had gone through, I'm not saying I'll do it again but without it I won't know how precious what I have now. She always see the bright side of everything.

Avoid generalizing and keep an open-mind. Listen to experience but make your own. Use the knowledge you learn.

I think I hit a soft spot, someone did not like my post. Oh well Whatever!

Bottom line i MEN AND WOMEN CHEAT, it has nothing to do with race. There are many factors why they cheat financial or emotional needs or just for the heck of it.

We cannot control the situation around us but we can control our reaction. Again it all depends with the character of a person not his/her nationality.
