I mean honestly it's true. All you ever read about is busts and flips go crazy celebrating. Don't you think it should be convictions they should celebrate? There are none but of course that flies by the Flip mentality.
An arrest is like an intention and as in all things people and countries are judged by their actions not their intentions. So in the case of human trafficking you have to judge by convictions. So the in reality the Philippines has done nothing.
Also the Philippines justice system was revised. Anyone engaging in prostitution is also engaging in human trafficking including a bar fine or just being a bar owner. Makes it look like to the world they are really doing something showing all the human trafficking arrest. But ask them how many convictions they have and OOOPPPPSSSSSS!!!!!! No convictions but alot of extortion money in the pockets of cops.
well, its become an annual thing that the organizations involved in monitoring the flips continuously decry their failed efforts and thus deny them anything relevant to increased funding or any type of improvement status. forever shaking their heads at the flips in disgust.
i have to think it is going to be this way forever and the reason has to be that America likes it this way.
consider that at a moments notice the US has access to the filipins completely w/o an argument.
US doesnt give a shite how many dynasties or celebrities run the country. its better for the US that way. why? because there is literally no one here that can say no to the US.
truth is that the US condones and aids oligarchs and keeps them in position and power and thereby renders the fils deliverable and helpless.
we all know very well that a certain US agency is alive and well in the fils and enjoying its roll in national manipulation. its the perfect training grounds for green agents id say.
ohhhh, and next comes chris aquino as vice pres?:)))

Many Sephardic Jews (Spanish Jews) also migrated to the Philippines to escape the Spanish Inquisition via Mexico and Zobel was one of them.

Means that Magellan was an idiot to be so far away from home and start a rucus. Columbas was also stupid to go back when could have stayed cruising the islands and the eroupeans would have thought they fell off the flat earth.

I neven had the pleasure of being in Alapaco, just crap hole towns like TJ ,Ciudad Juarez, Reynosa, Matamoros, and a few others that reminded me of home.

According to US Ambassador Thomas that 40percent male tourists going to the Philippines engaged in
sex trade...

and anybody caught will be penalized by the law.

At the same time, Thomas lauded the Philippines continuing the fight against human trafficking. He emphasized that this problem can be stopped.

"Human trafficking is everywhere because of evil men who do not give a damn of their victims especially the children. Remember, you might not be punished here on earth, but Hell is waiting for all of you evil men.

Now, for the first time, a state study estimates that at least 1,000 children -- some as young as 12 -- work as slaves in Ohio each year.

More than 800 people from foreign countries are also being forced into brothels, farms or factories. The number of modern day slaves is much higher, according to the study commissioned by Attorney General Richard Cordray.

That's because it could not estimate the number of adult Americans who are being forced to work in the state. It's a difficult crime to combat."

"Not all slaves are trafficked, but all trafficking victims are victims of slavery. Human trafficking is a particularly cruel type of slavery because it removes the victim from all that is familiar to her, rendering her completely isolated and alone, often unable to speak the language of her captors or fellow victims."

Men who laugh at the victims of slavery are evil.

"According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Thailand, China, Nigeria, Albania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine are among the countries that are the greatest sources of trafficked persons. The UNODC cites Thailand, Japan, Israel, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy and the United States as common destination countries of trafficked women and girls. "

Rich China is one of the greatest sources of trafficked persons? Why?

"What is the impact of sex trafficking?

Trafficking has a harrowing effect on the mental, emotional and physical well being of the women and girls ensnared in its web. Beyond the physical abuse, trafficked women suffer extreme emotional stress, including shame, grief, fear, distrust and suicidal thoughts. Victims often experience post-traumatic stress disorder, and with that, acute anxiety, depression and insomnia. Many victims turn to drugs and alcohol to numb the pain."

Are you lost? Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
