Would you buy shoes without first trying it on? Its a crude analogy but, seriously, sexual incompatibility can be very stressful on a marriage and can lead to divorce... I know, there's no such thing as divorce here. So it seems even more prudent to try on the shoes first.

Alert! Warning! Gender discrimination here! Women should not be compared to inanimate objects such as a pair of shoes! Alert! Beep beep beep...

I don't feel that it's wrong but it can be wrong in certain circumstances, before the age of consent for instance. Is it a sin? It is according to catholic law. Is it illegal? Not in the US. Is it immoral? It can be if someone's being taken advantaged of. The answer to this questions unfortunately isn't one of those "one size fits all" type stuff. We shouldn't say that premarital sex is good or bad in absolutes.

I can see how the admittedly crude analogy it subject to charges of gender discrimination. However, it was not meant to be taken literally as a fit between genitals where the man is the feet and the woman the shoes. Nor was it meant to imply that a spouse (whether male or female) is purchased. It was used simply to illustrate the point that sexual compatibility (shoes fitting - in the sense of compatible sexual expectations) is an important issue before committing to marriage (buying a shoe - in the sense it is an investment - an emotional, spiritual and financial commitment to your spouse).

Just to be clear, the issue of sexual compatibility is equally important for both men and women. Women are just as entitled to a healthy and gratifying sex life in marriage as men. Using the same crude analogy, a bad fitting shoe is neither good for the shoes or the feet.

I see your point, still I refuse to liken women to shoes for purposes of illustration. Men and women are equal. What is common in most parts of the world now is for boyfriend and girlfriend to live together without benefit of marriage and decide later whether to get bound legally or not. To have sex and then find out affterwards if they like each other or not and have sex with others if they don't, and go back to previous mates if found better than the recent ones is nothing but sex, sex, sex.
How about the person? Her being human? Not important provided she writhes and moans and grasps his buttocks and wraps her legs around
him and groans, tightens and shouts YES! YES! YES!

Oh my goodness! Oh sex, how important art thou?

"The greatest gift I can give my husband on our wedding night is my virginity."

It's just a simple statement. If you agree, fine. If you don't, don't even think I said it. But remember, when pregnancy ensues, the biological father will be court-mandated to give 17% of his income to support the child until age 21.

Never understood why it is necessary to put a guy in jail for failure to pay child support. The guy sure can't go to work if his a*s is in jail. On occassion I read the birth notices in the local paper and nearly half lists the mother's name only. Names like Tameika Lashonda Brown. Not a real name but an example to give a clue to who most of these unwed mothers are. I have seen the same in the Philippines. A girl with a baby and no idea where the father is. Had a buddy who was arrested three times for failure to pay child support and contrary to Working Girl's statement my buddy was a HVAC contractor and had a good income.$200.00 a week for one child is a bit much. His Ex must have done the Family Court judge, lol..........

Of course if the basis of your marriage is purely limited to sex. if you have no other purpose of getting marriage other than sex, why not. if everything around you is almost always associated with sex.

Saying pre marital sex is wrong is a belief born out of the idea that the purpose of marriage is sex and raising children. However as an sane person should realise marriage is more than just breeding kids. There is no reason why sex should always be tied to marriage.

There in lies the route of the problem. horny filipino males who will tell the girl almost anything to get in her pants then run away.

and more often then not "boy crazy" filipinas who will spread their legs at a gwapo guy, who cares if he can take care of her financially or not

I understand your sentiment but however nice a "gift" that would be, I wouldn't consider a bride's virginity the greatest gift a wife could give to her husband. I personally feel the greatest gift spouses can possibly give each other is faithfulness to each other and a commitment to raise their children well together.

To say its the greatest gift seems to reduce the value of all the other important ways a woman contributes to a successful marriage.

Nature tells us that the purpose of sex is procreation, the preservation of human specie. But humans are intellegent, don't want to abide by natural law, he thinks he is above natural law, to hell with natural law, damn natural law, common let's have sex, baby! anytime baby! let's go a-humping everybody! one more time now! everybody now! one more time!

Why dispute something that has been going on since the dawn of man. Its a natural occurrence and in many societies its not taboo. Its not taboo here either, you may say it is but how is something taboo if it goes on like its normal. Put two people together alone enough and they are going to boom boom rules or no rules.

My first wife was a virgin when we got married and when she discovered her sexuality she was more lesbian than straight, lucky gift for me a wife that doesnt like sex with men.

Deviating from what is natural is what makes it wrong. Using condoms in sex just to release sexual tension reduces man into mere crietens.
Whatever happened to self-respect? Why do man get so down low just for a few minutes of self-gratification?
