Don I still can equate that to being disastrous for the rest of the world. US impact per your previous comments is duly noted. I am assuming the trickle down reduction in Government effect is what you may be referring to. But again a one line... reduction in taxes is all that it takes to more or less tip over a global apple cart? I disagree.
OMG!!!!! Buddy found that out today. Frank Lutz just last week put out a change in terms for the Republicans from "trickle down economics" to "trickle down reduction in Government effect". Gods truth, he admitted it on Bill Maher Friday night.

so following your logic "the rich and powerful created the poor" you are in effect saying if we had no rich people we would have no poor people ???
I'm saying Government regulation to keep jobs from going overseas will keep a strong middle class thus a strong U.S. economy. If you make workers compete with Chinese labor then you just have a Chinese economic system.

LOL!!!! I don't get it. People in here calling me a communist. Im against sending jobs to China. They call themselves true Americans but support the rich that sends jobs to a Communist country like China.

Do people deny the fact the gap between the rich and poor in the U.S. has never been higher. What do people in here think happened in 2008 that suddenly millions of Americans all got lazy at once and quit their jobs to become entitlement dependent?

It is not the government's job to EFFECT anything other then
"life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness".
It is not the governments job to make everyone equal.
If God did not make us equal, how do you think government can?

Protectionism does NOT work. It never has and never will, and that has been acknowledged by most anyone with half of a brain.

Um how the government enforcing the the laws the rich on Wall Street broke and throw them in jail. Seems there are two sets of law now one for the rich and one for the rest of us.

Do you even support a different justice for the rich?

Don still seems to think that his beloved SS money is just sitting somewhere in a vault waiting to be paid out -wishful thinking won't pay the bills. The cupboard is bare -hence the need for the USA,and other countries, to live off borrowed money.
Perpetuating the myth SS is broke? It's solvent through 2030. Are you another one that loves big oil getting 20 billion a year but scrap a few million to kill Big Bird?

NOTE THE LAST PARAGRAPH
For what this is worth. From a Bill Moyers interview with David Stockman (Former Reagan financial adviser):
David Stockman on Crony Capitalism
March 9, 2012
Moyers & Company explores the tight connection between Wall Street and the White House with David Stockman, former budget director for President Reagan.
Now a businessman who says he was “taken to the woodshed” for telling the truth about the administration’s tax policies, Stockman speaks candidly with Bill Moyers about how money dominates politics, distorting free markets and endangering democracy.“As a result,” Stockman says,“we have neither capitalism nor democracy. We have crony capitalism.”
Stockman shares details on how the courtship of politics and high finance have turned our economy into a private club that rewards the super-rich and corporations, leaving average Americans wondering how it could happen and who’s really in charge.
“We now have an entitled class of Wall Street financiers and of corporate CEOs who believe the government is there to do… whatever it takes in order to keep the game going and their stock price moving upward,” Stockman tells Moyers.
Sad thing of it is.... It is TRUE!

You support a class system? Well better just scrap the Bill Of Rights and the Constitution. See that is exactly what they do in a Communist country.

Ruling class? Slavery would be right there again. So structure it for me. How much money do I need to be in your ruling class. Can I be born into it? Can I earn my way into it? Oh maybe a blood line. Come on lets step back a few hundred years ago and trash all the sacrifices our fighting men made.

How Communist of you...
Protectionism does not, and has never worked.
Unions in the US are what drove consumer goods production out of the US.
In my state of Tennessee, there was at least one clothing factory in most every town. Even a small town of 500 in my rural county had a Levi plant.
Now there is not one single Levi plant left in the USA.
In the other towns and cites, all clothing plants are gone.
I would love to see regional factories come back to America, but
Americans are not going to pay $500 for a pair of American made jeans.
Go ahead...Embargo foreign goods. What will you have?

America is now a service oriented economy, requiring educated workers.
Your only hope is to get your bros back into school.

I promise I will not vote in your election LOL!! However and here is a compliment what America does affects the world and I don't want my cosy life mucked up by Romney. The man is not a politician when he opens his mouth he puts his foot in it.

You fail to understand anything.
Of course the price has not gone down, but if they were made in America, the price would be triple what it is today.
If you think their profits are so high, why don't you buy their stock?(VF Corp).

Was it Romney that added almost 5 trillion to the US debt in the last 3 years?
Is Romney really the hidden president of the USSA?
Oh, pea brain, you don't have the intelligence to understand. I never said he screwed just the American economy. I said him and his cronies screwed the whole world's economy. To use a little cockney rhyming slang he is a "Banker".

Jealousy of the rich is nothing new.
Why are they poor? I agree there are always some lazy bastards who do not want to work but not the majority of them. You list 6 questions and five of them prove they contribute little to the government. They do however finance business not by buying shares but by buying the products.
The problem everyone rightly brings up is unemployment but it will never go down when you still issue green cards to most of the world and you can't control your borders properly. We have a similar problem being in the EC, open borders mean we have been swamped by Poles and soon it will be Greeks and Spanish.

I love your post. They are so funny. Comas could be your friend :)

Yes, Romney is NOT a politician. He is an American leader with very successful careers in business and as the governor of liberal Massachusetts
Obama? Well, I guess one might give him credit for being a Chicago thug and "community organizer" for the Communist and street gangs.
As a junior senator for Illinois, be barely showed up, and then only to vote "present" when any bill was brought up.
Yea, he had great credentials..NOT.

Yea, I hope Romney keeps "putting his foot in his mouth" as long as he destroys Obozo in the next debate, as he did in the first.
Gosh...too bad Obozo can not have his teleprompter for debates.
It is such a pain having to really carry on an unscripted debate.

Son, you are way out of your league...You better stick to UK politics. Oh, and I would not worry about Romney "mucking" up your life over in the UK. You have no "cozy" life to "muck up".
