The problem, as I see it is this: If any homeowner were to be in remarkable debt, and chose to take on even MORE debt to help "get themselves out of debt", would that be sound fiscal advice? Or would it doom the STUPID homeowner to lose EVERYTHING and deserve to lose everything???? Borrowing MORE money to get out of debt is NOT a solution!!!!! If the car companies had made cars people wanted to buy, maybe they wouldn't be in this shape. If they hadn't felt compelled to pay huge bonuses to their executives, MAYBE they wouldn't be in this position. When the banks were first bailed out, they have NOT been expected to tell us where they spent the money. What is WRONG??? Has all sense been lost in this country?
