Gillard: Asylum Policy Change is in Australia's Interest

Australia's government changed its policy on handling asylum seekers because it's in the national interest, Prime Minister Julia Gillard said.

No it is in Labors best interest because people have lost faith (if they had any) in it's ability to make tough decissions or any decission at all that is in Australia's best interest....It would be cheaper and more humane to process people in Australia where they would be easily accessed and decissions made that either they have a legit claim or not....

Why is png land continiously being used by Aust. for their own security and Dump site.... world war II now this...... On a global scale, such base less deals for a few AUSAID dollars only,.... forgoing its people's (PNG)intrest and collecting their opinion, realy tells the world that our so called PM and MP's are corrupt to the bones.......Continue with the trend and the citizens will one day rais up to you.......90% of PNG land is tradational land, not government owned, PM imposed statues does not have the authority to make that call with out proper consultation with the land owners.....

The reason you can't blame Rudd for that is that it isn't nor has it ever been anyone but the party that decides policy it is the same solution Gillard had as PM....and has only been altered because of extreme oposition....so no my mate Kev has never been a traitor ever, he loyaly followed his parties policies and after the Liberals and their dismal party policies Labor appeared like a breath of fresh air till the backstabbing and their failure to implement recomendations of a report they called for.....
