Supermercado Romero Chiriqui - Grupo Rey Panama Rip-Offs

[Ripped Off at Romero]

Although this relates to Romero in Chiriqui, Panama, it is my understanding that Romero is part of Grupo Rey.

If you are a foreign resident or visitor be careful as this store is a big rip-off. In David, Chiriqui, they priced cheese at one price and then when you go to the check-out stand it is another price. When I asked, the floor manager took the cheese and after a minute I followed him and I caught him changing prices!

I asked to see the store manager and after 15 minutes he was nowhere to be found so I left.

I will never shop at Romero again. I think Baru and Super 99 are better markets with nicer people.

I forgot to say the employees are both stupid and lazy. Most have a limited ability in their own Spanish language. No kidding!
