Perfect example of a Bible Thumper ruining every attempt at serious discussion with preaching. Did this crazy zealot even look at the headline? It is about BUSH & the SAUDI's, not about Jews. We should be discussing Bush & his relationship with them. One of their princes was his best buddy, & he counted on him as a foreign advisor. Now, Bush has "diminished influence"? True? Excuse? Blatant lie? Where is Kuwait in this, the country we went to war to protect? Are they pumping more oil to us at reduced prices? Lastly, let's finally see that Cheney closed-door Energy Policy that supposedly exists -- the one that benefits the oil companies! THESE are worthy of discussion, not preaching from the mountain on the trials & tribulations of Jews. Actually read the story folks!

I'm lead to believe that they did crawl out of the primordial slime... Did you? DNA works against you - not with you... There is an undeniable order in this universe. Charles Darwin said: To suppose that the eye could have been formed by natural selection, seems "I freely confess", absurd in the highest degree. " If man cannot begin to make a human eye, how could anyone in his right mind think that eyes formed by mere chance? In fact, man cannot make anything from nothing. We don't know how to do it. We can recreate, reform, develop... but we cannot create even one grain of sand from nothing. Yet, the eye is only a small part of the most sophisticated part of creation - The human body. George Gallup, The famous statistician said: "I could prove God statistically: take the human body alone: the chance that all the functions of the individual would just happen, is a statistical monstrosity. Albert Einstein said: "Everyone who is seriously interested in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe - a spirit vastly superior to man, and one in the face of which our modest powers must feel humble." Do you believe in the Big Bang Theory of Evolution? I think you need to give it a rest. Anyone that would quote Einstein in support of any religion is clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed. A zealot is a zealot, regardless of beliefs. We should have given the Jews northern Mexico after WWII. There would never have been a mideast problem, the Jewish people would have the knowledge to pull Mexico out of the third world and would eliminate the illegal immigration issue here in the states. I wonder if it's too late??? BTW, everyone keeps saying that the cost of oil is 6 times what it was ten years ago because China and India are purchasing more of it. I think this is BS. I want to see the numbers tht prove this. Not statistics mind you, but the actual sales data because I firmly believe that the USA is still the big dog when it comes to consumption and I know the numbers will prove this. We are being bent over and we're all just taking it!

Oh.. PLEASE SEND US MORE OIL. The Democrats in congress are appeasing the US citizens with worthless bills. They won't let us do anything to tap into OUR OWN OIL which is the only thing that will drive down the costs. WE NEED TO PUMP IN ALASKA, GULF OF MEXICO AND PACIFIC. We need to do it NOW.

Everyone else hates us anyway. We need to drill at least int he Gulf and Pacific and find our own oil sources. Stop exporting and importing and start TAKING CARE OF ORUSELVES and stop worrying about everyone else.

Right, its the democrats in congress that have us kissing saudi ass. We can't pump oil out of ANWAR or off the coast of florida. Who would want to go to disney world if there were oil rigs off of jacksonville. So lets just keep on importing that foreign oil so we can save a couple of caribou in alaska. And for the idiot yesterday who posted that Anwar would be dry in less then a year. How long have they been pumping from the North Slope? Since the 70s and still going, and that area is also loaded with natural gas too.

Do you really think that pumping oil in Alaska or Canada or Mexico would do anything? Oil companies are for-profit businesses. They exist, just like every business, to MAXIMIZE PROFIT - and they will continue to do this with every means at their disposal, whether you or I like it or not. Even if we do drill for oil in Alaska, do you really think that BP anyone else is going to sell it to Americans at a reduced price, and therefore reduce their profit? If you do think that, then you have not paid attention to anything that has happened in business anywhere in the world in the past 50 years. That is not how for-profit business works. It is not about charity or being nice. They are not going to willingly reduce the price for their goods unless doing so increases the marginal returns to the extent that it is advantageous to do so. If that were the case, OPEC would already be pumping more oil. The higher prices are here, folks. We can had our warning with the 1973 oil crisis. We could have invested in alternative energy then - and indeed, we started to do so - but then we pushed it aside for the most part. Now the world's population is nearly double that of 1973, OPEC is just as strong if not stronger than it was then, our cars are no more efficient than they were in 1973 (on average - because they have gotten much bigger and heavier even though the engines have gotten more efficent, the overall cars have gotten no more efficient) and we pay the price for ignorning what was sure to happen.

Please get off the Jew / Non-Jew kick. It's pointless. Everyone has their own ideas, and no matter how long or loud you rant, you're not apt to change someone's mind about it.
It would help if our dingbat CiC had any kind of international cache. Invading a soverign country in the region on fabricated intelligence, and then appealing to the neighbors to lower gas prices so that the economy that he and his cronies wrecked can be jump-started? Oh come on now... even he cant be that dumb can he?
Maybe he can...

I think it's disgraceful that we have a President in a foreign nation begging for more oil.
Plus, I can just see that crooked Bush smile behind closed doors saying "Uh, Abdullah, uh, yeah we need more oil, see, but I know you can't pump it, and, uh, well I just want to look like I'm doin' something 'round here. So, I'm gonna ask, uh, you to pump for oil for America and its freedom, but I know you can't. Hehe, see what I mean?"

We wouldn't have to beg the Saudis to increase production if the Democrats had not blocked drilling in Anwar and in the Gulf of Mexico. Thanks Demos for making us dependant upon the Arabs.

Can we please end the off-topic Jewish/religion arguement now?
The bottom line is this, oil prices will never go down drastically. High prices are here to stay. Instead of worring about sustaining something that's unsustainable we should concentrate our efforts on alternate energy.
Then we can tell the whole middle east to kiss our collective behinds.

The day after Bush criticizes those who want to 'appease' dictators, he meets with the richest dictator in all the world. I say their meeting was simply 2 oil guys patting each other on the back for a job well done.

Yeah, why would they want to raise production and see the price per barrel drop and cut into their revenures?
Greedy bastards.

Now we're down to begging favor of the same country that we help protect... and get refused. This is sadly comical.

Oh yeah and let's import Jews from Israel and close the damned country down. Let them integrate into US society. They are wonderful hard working and intelligent people. I think we should let them in and then slam our borders shut.

Exactly! Let us not forget that the bible is a book written by man. Do you honestly believe what is written in there? Then my friends you would be the fool. No "god" would advocate killing and stoning his "creation". The truth is that man wrote the words in order to keep people in line. This is a free country and you are free to believe whatever bunk you chose, but it is also my right to believe you must have a screw loose.
