Do Saudis, Iran or Syria allow Israeli TV in those countries? Just asking.

Hamas Islamic terrorists that are commanded by the radical Islamic Iranian regime of Hitler-Ahmadinajad are using Al-Jazeera for their media war against the Jews which is even more important than the Hamas suicide bombers actual attacks.
Al Jazeera supports the Hamas Islamic terrorists that call for the destruction of Israel and creation of Islamic state with the Israeli Arab Muslims on the ruins of the Jewish state.
Al Jazeera keeps inciting the Israeli Muslims against the Jews by presenting one-sided stories, intentionally hiding and ignoring the killing of Israeli children by Hamas missile attacks on Sderot and Ashkelon.
Al Jazeera realized that picture of small Palestinian children crying from their bleeding injury is better than 1000 words…and that they can win the war for the Hamas Islamic terrorists and Iran even before one bullet has been shot…
Clearly, Israel keeps losing the war on the world’s public relations because of newspapers like al Jazeera that serve the agenda of the evil radical Islamic Iranian regime of Ahmadinajad and of the Hamas Islamic terrorist suicide bombers while hiding the truth about Islamic terrorist daily attacks on Jewish kids in Israel.
Israel is right to fight the newspaper that fights… the Jews right to live as Jewish state and to remove it from Israeli media for his one-sided service of the Islamic terrorists.

So all of the news coming out of the media of Israel is totally without bias and religiously presents the facts as they are with out any spin or massage? Israel media then is the pillar of truth? There is never a lapse of virtue?
alJazeera is known as an organ that favors the Arab point of view. There is nothing clandestine in their operation. I don't watch or glean any news from them because I am aware of their slant and I don't want bias and propaganda.
When there is a dispute between areas the most unlikely place to go for news is the press of one of the combattants. I am certain that in Israel there are newspapers that have editorial policies as do most papers and the idea of a totally neutral and completely unbiased news source is an unlikely prospect. So long as one realizes the slant or policy of the source the likelihood of completely buying into the propaganda is substantially diminished.
To be completly fair I must say it was Israeli radio that said Olmert approved further building of 330 homes to appease the Shas party. They reported a key fact and didn't try to present a spin.

So you hold Israel to the same standards as Iran or Saudi Arabia? Should you not aim higher?

You are correct, Israel has a right to continue to filter media. They have a right to give sanctions to a news paper for writing the truth when it harms Israel.

Israel, continue to filter, but in todays world, truth is slowly making its way to the western media. In time, the world will recognize Israeli policies, especially the states.

Can't hide the truth forever.

right...and the quality programming offered on HAMAS for
kids is Suicide Mickey Mouse and a Big Furry Rabbit calling for
the blood of Israeli children and for them to "eat jews up."
Nice. Now that's giving kids something to live for.

So-any answers out there-can Saudis, Syrians or Iranians watch
Israeli TV? Just asking. And, I didn't think so. Tokyo Rose was
used to discourage the troops when we were at war. They tried to
block the signal whenever possible. Israel is at war.

Ever hear of the incident of an American protestor run over by an Israeli bulldozer trying to save Palistinain homes from being demolished to put in its place Jewish settlers? You will not hear that in western media but aljazerra and human rights groups report it.
http://www.btselem.org/English/
Yeah, that was all over the news here. But not too many people really cared (at least, not that I was aware of).

I mean, if you run in front of a bulldozer thats only a few feet away from demolishing something, there is a good chance that you're gunna get it.

I still feel bad for her, but she made her own decisions.

aljazeera was against the Mickey mouse incident...
The Hamas TV kid's show -- "Pioneers of Tomorrow" has had an unfortunate history with their costumed characters.

First there was Farfour the Mouse (the bastard son of Mickey) who dies -- unfortunately -- at the hands of an Arabic-speaking Israeli agent for refusing to hand over the deed and keys to his ancestoral home to said Israeli. They showed him being beaten to death live on the children's show.

Then came his "Cousin" -- Nahool the Bee -- one can only wonder at the bestiality implied here. Nahool praised the concept of childhood martyrdom and showed little Palestinian kids how NOT to act at the zoo by swinging live kittens around by their tails on camera (to the laughter of the young audience). Nahool's tragic death did not occur on camera -- it was only told that he died as a result of not being able to get to an Israeli hospital for treatment. It seems Palestians have no vets or hospitals.

The next character on the show was his "brother" Assud the Bunny (who looks remarkably like Bugs Bunny, but without the Brooklyn accent -- too Jewish). Assud has taken his hatred of the Jews one step further, not only has he told the good little Palestinian boys and girls to kill all the Jews (not Zionists by the way), he insists that he will in fact EAT the dead Jews -- Shades of Holy Grail!

Now THAT is good TV!

"aljazeera was against the Mickey mouse incident."

But, what kind of mentality produces it in the first place?
Suicide Mickey Mouse-the only reason it stopped was Disney
threatened to sue. How could adults create this for children?????????

"What you see in the western media is a one sided news coverage. THe western media stopped aljazeera from opening a station."

This goes way beyond aljazeera-the use of a children's channel
to promote killing, hatred and prejudice is appalling. Unforgiveable.

"It is the western media that reports bias information. Israel is great on filtering the truth to make themselves look good."

Well sure-they are no better than the US (remember all the flag
icons on the screen right after 9/11. They are only human. But
they don;t play hours upon hours of suicide bombing scenes
with music underneath...as if it is current, breaking news.

"When many western people go to Israel, they see for themselves what the real issue is and they protest with the Palistinians on the inhuman treatment and land grab that Israel continues to do. Ever hear of the incident of an American protestor run over by an Israeli bulldozer trying to save Palistinain homes from being demolished to put in its place Jewish settlers?"

I have been too Israel and the region over the years. I have
seen GAZA....I am sorry, the condititions they live in were the same
pre-1967. Maybe not bulldozed or bombed homes where HAMAS
leaders or suicide families are...but the lack of sanitation, decay,
backward lifestyle and absence of a professional class are nothing new.
Palestinians have been abandonned by their Arab brothers and used
by them as cheap proxy fighters to keep up a protest of Israel while
the rest of the Arab World has signed treaties with Israel or is ready to.
The latest exploiters of Palestinians are Syria and Iran who actually seek
to destabilze the area and become larger regional players.
Yes, I know the story of Rachel Corey. I am sorry-she is like any protestor who is harmed when they put themselves too far on the
front lines. No one can rationally think Israel wanted to kill her.

The bulldozer driver saw her, it was what most people call murder. Then again, she was a goyim, what did she expect??
We had a "goyim" named Richard Nickel in Chicago who, decades
ago, saw the value in preserving the old architecture that was
being torn down. He died while saving elements of Louis Sullivan
terra cotta inside the Stock Exchange Building. He went into
the buildng after police and the city posted signs saying keep out.
He died when the building pancaked as the wrecking ball worked
noisily outside. I am a preservationist but I don't think he was murdered.
His cause may have been just but it was a work site and the crews
were doing their job. No one set out to kill him. No one tried to kill Corey. It is just outrageous to say protestors have no responsibility
when they put themselves in danger. And what do you think about
Suicide Mickey Mouse? Isn't that a form of killing? Inciting children-
teaching them murder?

"Israel was especially incensed by the network's coverage of the most recent round of intense violence in Hamas-ruled Gaza, saying it rarely showed Israeli casualties or Palestinian rocket fire. Three Israelis and more than 120 Palestinians were killed, including dozens of civilians, before the fighting subsided earlier this month."
Its truly sad to see how you can actually write this without thinking anything about how one sided the conflict really is. Look at the ratio 3:120. And most of which is the killing of civilians. Rocket fire vs F16s. Unbelievable! Had this been any other country, American would have been the first to condemn this. But somehow this conflict seems to be an exception...

Well, it's not a game of checkers. it's a war.
It proves the remarkable restraint that the Israelis have been showing in the face of daily missile barrages for over 3 years.
If the arabs had the weapons they would happily kill ALL of the jews.
That's the basic difference.
If the arabs laid down their weapons today, there would be peace.
If the jews laid down their weapons, they all be dead.

Look at the ratio 3:120.
Had this been any other country, American would have been the first to condemn this. But somehow this conflict seems to be an exception.

See I look at the instigator and the intent. When
Israel sends suicide bombers onto busses or into
cafes, then you can say they want to murder civilians.

Palestinians are missing the mark-but if you look
at the number of rockets and where they are sent
it would be total carnage of Israeli civilians. What
country in the world waits for its enemy to up the
learning curve and kill more people? Can you imagine
Putin putting up with this? Chechnya anyone? The
US is bombing Somolia.

I can't think of one group in the history of man
as stupid as the Palestinians. They aren't fighitng for
themselves, but are tools of other Arab countries
that don't want to face Israel. As those countries
decide to normalize relations with Israel (Jordan,
Egypt) and go on, a new crop of cowardly bullies
steps up (Syria,Iran) to keep them fighting ...
BUT AGAIN, ARABS ARE TRICKING ARABS INTO
DYING. Palestinians need to put self-interest ahead
of ego...the economies of these other Arab nations
have propsered while GAZA is smoking ruin. HAMAS
has killed more Palestinians than Israel..Hezbollah
keeps them from statehood.
